On Us

Why are you so low?  Why so down?  Do you think you are alone?  Does a flower grow by itself, or is it surrounded by all that it needs to flourish?  Does a bear’s hair thicken of its own accord in winter, or must the bear will it to do so? 

You are never alone, my child.  You do not have to think to breathe or blink, for you are so very well looked after.  When things appear to go wrong, you do not have the greater vision, the bigger picture.  As part of something far greater than yourself there is always interaction, give and take.  What may appear to be a punishment is nothing of the sort.  Yes, question those things you cannot understand for now.  All will be answered in time, from the realm of no-time, where some day you will look back with great understanding.  You will see the vital role you played and that you never did play solitaire.

Take in a deep breath and know that the next one is on us.

Expectations

You want to know what heaven is like?  You want to know what we do here?  Spend some time in your dreams.  It is a fanciful way of living and experiencing—full of wonder.  You wonder a thing, and it becomes your experience, for all is consciousness without the impediment of a physical body or world.

You have experienced a bit of heaven in your so-called lucid dream state.  You are almost focused in the physical world, but not quite, and so, you are aware that you are dreaming.  In this semi-lucid state you control the dream experience, taking on form, environment, and role.  This is how you will experience consciousness when you no longer have a body.  You wish to be with your loved ones, and you are.  It is as real as your current reality.  Never forget that reality is relative to the observer. 

Be not afraid of death.  It will be as beautiful as you make it.

Tools

You are your own divining rod, your own pendulum.  When you learn to sense higher consciousness, there is no need for external tools.  These are excellent implements to use in helping your discernment, but how do they work?  They use your own higher consciousness and channel it into a physical implement.  Your entire body is a physical implement of Higher Consciousness.  Use it as such to sense our messages.

Sit quietly, ask your unanswered questions and listen for the answer.  Are you visually inclined?  Give us a symbol in your mind’s eye to represent “yes” and one for “no.”  You would trust a pendulum, now learn to trust the symbols which appear.  It is all about quieting the mind, shifting the focus, and trusting. 

Trust that you are never alone, and then turn to your helpers within for answers.

Inspired

Any one of you could be inspired if you opened the spigot.  Inspiration flows like water through you, but you control the flow.  “Oh, I am not clever.  Oh, I am not creative,” you cry, and in so thinking you limit yourself. 

You are all endowed with the characteristics of your Source, the Great Creator.  Inspiration does not come from the human mind, but from the Spirit.  Look at the origins of your word:  In Spirit.

Be inspired today.  Be in Spirit as you sit and connect with your Source.  Do you wish to build something useful, write beautiful words, draw something imaginative?  Shift your focus from the limited mind of the human and assume the mantle of the limitless Mind.   

You are the Way and the Light

Joy to the world.  That is what we wish you to bring:  joy, love, and hope.  “Oh, but I am just one person!” you cry, and in one sense this is true.  In the greater sense, you are All That Is.  What if all humans felt they could make no difference? 

Keep chipping away at the darkness.  Be the light that shines ever brighter, bringing love where there is anger and hatred.  How refreshing! 

Joy to the world, the Lord is come to this earth in the form of you!  Quite a responsibility it is, but you are up to the task.  Each and every one of you awakened souls brings a beacon of light in a sea of darkness.  Go forth today and be a messenger.  Hold your lantern high as you shine it upon those whose eyes are closed.  At first they will balk and shade the eyes.  Faced with such darkness, however, they will come around one by one.  It may seem a daunting task, but this is the way, and you are it.

Serenity

Serenity – this is what lies at the bottom.  Picture a wild storm upon the ocean whipping the waves.  When at the surface, you are tossed about by the waves and buffeted by the wind.  Yet, sink farther and farther from the surface, and there the inhabitants of the sea know no maelstrom.

Let the dolphins guide you.  They play in the waves, surfing with them, even the highest of waves which you consider frightening.  Follow the dolphins as they frolic, then glide with them down, down, down to the peaceful depths.  These peaceful, loving creatures know the truth.  There is nothing to fear.  Under all the turmoil lies eternal peace.  Follow them there and you will not drown.  You will sit on the sandy bottom where all is calm, and breathe.

Angels at Your Side

Angels are real, yes, indeed.
To help all of you when in need.
Ministering helpers, they come and they go
At times with a form. At times just a glow.
Yes, coming and going¸ but please, don’t you fear.
There is always at least one angel who’s near.
Call it a guide, this angel who’s yours.
It matters not what you call it; this one you adores.
Give your angel a name, or its light simply feel.
But know in your heart that yes, angels are real.

With Patience

Eternal patience.  That is what we have for you.  In your world you experience frustration as you awaken and realize how many around you have yet so far to grow.  This is because you think in human terms of time.  From our perspective, time is of no consequence.  Learning occurs sequentially, and so we observe the growth in steps and know that all is in perfect order.

Just as a parent watches a toddler toddle and fall, toddle and fall, so we watch you with patience, love, and understanding.  We know that after enough practice, finally you will stand on two feet and walk.  Be patient with yourselves.  All is in perfect order.

Your Ministry

What is a ministry, but the ministering unto others who are in need of upliftment?  A ministry can take many forms.  What is yours?  Do you give the gift of a smile?  Do you minister with a helping hand?  Are your loving words the healing grace you gift unto others?

You need no special certificate to be a minister of love, a minister of peace, a minister of kindness.  No license is necessary, merely the recognition that you are here to do unto others as you would have them do unto you.  The great master Jesus taught this.  May you continue the teaching by your example and be a great minster today.

There For You

All the world desires a best friend—someone in whom they can confide, one who loves them no matter what, a life partner who will stand at their side when needed, a pillar of strength, yet soft.  We send you these gifts in human form as needed.  Your physical friend or partner is God’s gift to you—the physical manifestation of that which lies in every body, but know that you have within you at all times the Source of unconditional love for those times when the outer friend cannot be present.

Healing Colors

Colors are energy, are they not?  Certain colors vibrate far faster than others.  Why do you speak of a black mood?  Why is there a gray pall around one who is sick?  Why is Johnny dull?  And why do you seek the white light?  Why search for the golden egg?  Why focus upon the violet flame? 

Colors are more than visual.  At their essence they are vibrational.  You can use color to your advantage to heal the body, to increase your focus, and raise your emotions.  When feeling low, sit in a shaft of white or golden light that you create in the mind.  Never forget, consciousness creates thought.  Thoughts consist of waveforms of energy.  What is color, but waveforms of light.  Fill your world with light and banish the darkness.

All That Matters

How can you be an awakened spirit and have what you call a “bad hair day”?  You cannot.  Only the ego-directed human being gives any importance whatsoever to the outer appearance.  Yes, it is desirable for the physical housing to be healthy, but how one styles the hair, how one adorns the body matters not a whit. 

How one uses Consciousness is all important.  Do your thoughts cause you to grow in love and the experience thereof?  If so, then you are centered in the spirit.  When the thoughts wander to physical appearance and passing things of the ephemeral physical world, recognize ego at work.  Use Consciousness, that gift of the spirit, to bring mind back to all that matters.

Man's Best Friend

The seeing eye dog … man’s best friend with an important role:  to act as the physical eyes of one who cannot see, to warn of dangers, and protect its master.  Whilst there is a master-servant relationship, do you not see that the two are also bonded by love? 

You have within you a Seeing Eye.  It guides you through the darkness when you know not which way to turn.  It keeps you out of trouble, nudging you ever so gently and at times a bit forcefully urging you to act when you are in danger.  This Seeing Eye is a source of unconditional love that goes with you everywhere.  How often do you praise it, thank it, give it strokes, and acknowledgment?  It will remain at your side through thick and thin, asking little in return, but a little acknowledgment and gratitude are quite appreciated. 

Were it not for this Seeing Eye, you would stumble far more often.  Be not blind to your helper—this connection to the one who guards the light within.  Spend time getting to know it.  We daresay it will become your greatest, most trusted companion.

Trust First

The nature of the adult human is to doubt.  Very few are those who trust implicitly.  Those are called “naïve” by those who doubt.  And so, you have your doubters and your trusters – yet another demonstration of the duality of the human experience.  Fear and love, doubt and trust.  Doubt arises after the experience of trusting and finding something is not as you believed.  Doubt appears after being told what to believe and having the opposite experience.  And so, you learn it is easier to doubt first than to trust and be disappointed.

What if you were to trust first?  Of course, there may be opportunities to be disappointed when you approach life from the more trusting perspective, but it is trust and belief that opens the door to ever-greater experiences.  Open the door, if only a crack.  Once opened, the light can stream in.  If your world is ruled by doubt, then the light remains ever hidden and all the more difficult to access.

Spread Your Wings

Swim across an ocean and you will see what you are made of.  Flap your arms and try to fly and you will see that you have limits.  The human body is a temporary hindrance, as is the mind when it takes on a personality.  Give the mind a name and it becomes quite fixed.  Separate the mind from all things human and it becomes again pure consciousness, not an instrument of the body, but of the spirit.  That is what you who has taken on a name are:  an instrument of spirit.  Be not quite so fixed, quite so limited in your thinking. 

Now spread your wings and fly!

Ever Changing

Things are never as you think.  If perception is reality, then does not reality take billions of forms?  There are billions of humans experiencing life on your planet, and each of them has their own view of reality, their own interpretation.  To some an event is a curse, to others a blessing.

How will you perceive your experiences today?  As a blessing or as a curse?  Step out of the reality you have currently chosen  It is not fixed.  It is quite motile.  Now choose your reality.  If it is anything less than a blessing, choose again.

Note from Suzanne:  that word “motile” is not a typo.  That is the word Sanaya gave me.  I had to look it up, and even Ty, the walking dictionary, did not know the meaning.  It means “capable of or demonstrating movement by independent means.”   Way to go, Sanaya!

Your Spiritual Spa

Oh, how you do abuse yourselves.  If you would allow us, we would show you how to treat yourself respectfully and lovingly.  We would put you in a sanitarium filled with beautiful flowers where soothing music plays.  The air would be fragrant, the temperature not too hot and not too cold.  You would lie in a firm yet soft mattress, swathed in soft blankets.  And then, two angels would sit beside you, one on each side, and they would spend your waking hours telling you how much you are loved and how worthy you are as they stroke your body and gaze into your eyes.  You would be fed fresh fruits, vegetables, and delicious broths.  This treatment would continue until you believe the words you are hearing and until the body releases all toxins.

Does such a place exist?  You can create exactly such a place, both physical and spiritual and recover in this spiritual spa.  Why have you not done so yet?  Do you think you are not worthy?  Begin now to gather the materials and create the surroundings.  We will provide the angels.  They are waiting in the wings for you to take the first step in loving yourself.

The Best is Yet to Come

Words are insufficient.  Words cannot express infinity.  Words cannot express true subtlety.  Imagine a rainbow.  You divide it into seven solid colors and say those are the only ones, but then you speak of colors such as pink, and rose, and fuchsia.  Where do you stop? 

How do you give words to the full range of emotions?  You cannot.  You simply experience them.  How do you give words to bliss?  You cannot.  If you think you have experienced true bliss, you are mistaken.  The best is yet to come. It is an experience for which there are no words.

If you think you know what God is, you know not.  Knowing puts limits on a thing, pinning it down.  God is infinite.  God can be experienced and felt, and a certain knowingness can be achieved, but just as with bliss, you cannot know or feel God fully.  Believe us when we say that in your experience of God, as with all of life and experience, the best is yet to come.

Standing Strong

Sudden shocks shake you like an earthquake.  The initial reaction is fright and alarm.  You think your world is going to turn upside down.  Quickly catch yourself before you fall too deeply into ego’s grasp.  Recognize how much of your reaction is programmed.  “Oh, my God!  This is the worst thing that could possibly happen,” you are programmed to cry.  Is it, or is that a belief from the human side of you?

Fast forward to what you would know as the future and what we know as the unfolding of now-moments.  The “future” reveals much growth from these earth-shattering moments.  The “future” looks different because life is about change, but you are still here in this so-called future, stronger than ever, having rebuilt your foundation.

Catch yourself before you crumble when the earthquake hits.  Do not crumble, but stand firmly upon the foundations of spirit and know that this is yet another test.  Are you human or spirit?  Yes, my friend, for now you are both.  Lean heavily on that aspect of yourself which is the awakened spirit when all around you seems to crumble, and be the rock.  Most important of all, know that you do not stand alone.  Your foundation is buttressed by many helpers.  Call on them for support and the rock becomes a strong wall, held together with the mortar of love.

Creating Magic

Real magic comes in the form of a smile.  Real magic comes in the form of a hand on an arm.  Real magic comes in the form of a kind word spoken at just the right moment. 

You have within you the capacity to create magic in the life of all others.  You are the magician, using the sleight of hand—yes, the slightest of gestures—to change bad to good, fear to contentment, anger to love in an instant with the flick of a wrist, the wink of an eye, the flash of a smile. 

Create magic today, sprinkling fairy dust with your eyes, lips, and hands.  Create magic for the Great Magician, who gives you the hand, eyes, and lips to do so.

No Time

Forever is a long time in a world where time exists.  You use time as a marker, a convenience.  How else would you know when to get up and come and go?  Do you see the silliness?  What if there were no time?  What if you simply existed?  What if you simply experienced each moment?  Would you not enjoy each moment more?  You would not be thinking about what came next.  You would not be planning or worrying.  You would simply be.  “But that is not practical in this world!”  And you are correct.  But it is practical in the other world in which you as spirit walk now—yes, this very moment.  Now.

You wish to experience this?  Shift your focus and simply be there.  Sit quietly, close your eyes.  Shut out the world of time and slip into the world of now.  Be here now.  And now we say, welcome home. 

Do you feel the peace?  It is always here, but first you must take the time to go to this place of no-time.

Stones

What happens if you take an object and put a stone upon its back in the water?  It will sink to the bottom, will it not?  Those for whom you hold anger or resentment or judgment are like rocks upon your back, pressing your face into the muck.  The more stones upon your back, the harder it is to breathe.

Sit in the silence.  Bring to mind the images of those for whom you hold judgment, disdain, and anything less than love.  For each person you now send love with the simple words, “I forgive you and myself for being human,” a stone rolls off your back.  Continue this process until you rise, rocket-like to the surface and pop, now free to breathe, into the light.  A visual exercise, yes, but this is how consciousness creates.

Cracked Wide Open

“I of myself do nothing.”  Never forget these words and you have passed the test.  The moment you begin to take credit for what you think are your works, you have lost sight of Truth.  This is why it is so very important to maintain your connection with Spirit on a daily, if not moment-to-moment basis whilst in human form.  Walking amongst other humans it is far too easy to slip back into allowing ego to run the show.

You are not the ego.  You never have been.  It is when that shell first cracked and your light began to shine outward from within and onto others that you were truly reborn.  It was through that connection with your true Spirit that your life as an awakened spirit truly began.  Never lose sight of that now that your sight has been regained.

Rooted

“Seeing is believing.”  Is this what you believe?  Then you will continue to doubt the existence of aught beyond yourself, we’re afraid.  If “seeing is believing” is your belief, then you are still quite firmly rooted in your present reality. 

Can you trust in words you hear?  In advice that comes from a realm beyond the physical?  If so, then why the need to see with your own eyes?  Yes, it would be helpful to the ego side of you, but the greater aspect of your Self which is spirit already knows there is more.  See that side of yourself with the heart and believe.

Miracles

Behold the miracle that is Life.  From a speck of dust emerges reason.  From a breath of air results a loving heart.  From the joining of man and woman results interconnection with a third—the holy triangle in yet another of its many manifestations.  Life perpetuates itself perpetually.  It can be no other way.  You live in perpetuity whether in form or not, perpetually experiencing Life.  That is what life is about—the experience of existence, appreciation of the miracles.  Open your eyes, both physical and non-physical, and see the miracles today.

Working Together

Give credit where credit is due,
And remember: It is not always you.

With these short poetic lines we wish you to know that you rarely act alone.  Yes, you strike out and use your free will constantly, but does that mean that you are actually free? 

God is your very being.  You are God-breathed.  It is God that giveth and God that taketh away.  Yet, you are free to make choices.  In this way you grow, just as a child does.  Ego will get you in trouble.  Ego wants to strike out on its own all the time.  Such impudence!  Be grateful for your guides.  Even if you are not aware of their existence they keep you straight.  Like a parent who will let you earn a few bumps and bruises but will make sure you avoid the truly big falls, your guides are always there.  You are part of a very big team.  It may seem to be made of separate players, assistant coaches, and the Head Coach, but in reality, there is just the One.

Give credit where it is due.

All That Matters

You see others and you feel envy, but you know not what goes on in their hearts and minds.  You are all so very good at playing roles.  Think of those married couples who separate, and so many remark, “I had no idea.”  And this is truth with all beings when you stay at the level of the ego. 

At the ego level, you project what you learn unto others.  You take things at face value.  You make assumptions. Pay not so much attention to others, but focus on your own heart.  How are your thoughts and your ability to love yourself developing?  That is the first and most important step in this school of life.  Hear your thoughts and love yourself.  Then give that love to others.  In so doing, you will have nothing to hide and nothing to envy. 

Many have much to hide.  Make no assumptions.  Feel no envy.  Love yourself, and then share that with others.  That is all that matters.

Challenging Beliefs

Seeing is believing – at least, this is your belief.  But what if you ask for an apparition and none appears?  Does that mean you cannot hold onto your beliefs that there is more to the eye than that which you behold? 

Behold the truth:  You are but a speck of dust in the whole of reality.  Does this mean that you are insignificant?  Not at all.  You are magnificent as spirit.  Your human form is dustlike and shall return to the earth—insignificant in size if you must make such comparisons.  But what of you as spirit? 

If you place importance upon things based upon size and physical appearance, then you will never truly appreciate the grandeur of you.  See this truth in your mind:  You are part of All That Is.  Believe this truth, even if you cannot physically see it.  Believe in your greatness and your role in all of creation.  Can you believe this without seeing it? 

Such a challenge for a speck of dust.

Who's in Charge?

You want others to be just like you—to think as you do, act as you do, love as you do.  When they fail to do so, you feel frustration.  This is ego, my friend.  It is ego that thinks your way is the only way, even if your way (in ego’s mind) is the best way. 

Who is ego to say there is only one way to express the Self?  There are infinite ways.  Is one way better than another?  Undoubtedly, in the human realm, where many display judgment and a lack of loving kindness.  But who are you to judge?  It is ego that judges. 

Observe.  Observe and say, “Isn’t that interesting?  That is yet another manifestation of the God Force” or “That is one whose ego is in charge.”  In either case, it affects you not.  Only your thoughts affect you.  What you think ultimately affects the growth of the whole, so pray focus on yourself and do try to keep ego at bay … for your own good and the good of the Whole.

Repair the Bonds

Step-son, step-daughter, step-parents and the like.  This is a new form of relationship, formed not of blood, but of a bond—a bond of marriage.  Yes, it is true there is no blood relation, but do you think it is an accident they are in your life? 

Imagine the moment before all were born and the decision was made to help each other to learn in some way.  Imagine the light-bulb moment when you decided together to be bonded in this way—a step closer than most by the legal bond of marriage, a step farther away than blood relatives, but a step forward in your growth caused by this bond. 

As with all of your interconnections, your “steps” afford you great challenges, which we wish you to see as opportunities.  You chose each other.  Trust us in this.  If the bond now is not fully loving, know that at one time, in a different dimension it was.  Ask for guidance to know what you can do to return to that relationship.  That will be a step in the right direction.
