Monkey Business

Monkeys swing from branch to branch, oft jumping as if flying through the spaces in between.  Such freedom they do enjoy.  Their life seems like all play and games.  They sit up high and view the world with curiosity.  Could you not learn a lesson from these creatures?

 

Invite a bit of playfulness into your life.  Monkey around a bit.  Why so serious all the time?  Be free to jump from branch to branch, exploring new ways of being, new ways of seeing from new vantage points.  Rest a while in these new ways of being.  Sit and scratch your head.  It is quite curious, this new vantage point, is it not?  Now screech.  Let the world hear your voice, and do not forget to laugh.  There is a lot to be learned from God's creatures, is there not?

Let Them In

All human beings have frailties.  Some turn to drink to handle their problems.  Some lash out.  Some retreat into a shell.  All of these are coping mechanisms.  How do you cope alone?  Poorly, do you not?  It is in the reaching out that you find support, for always will you be guided toward a source of love—the healing balm.  This love lies always inside you, but at times it takes another to show you this truth.

 

Turn to another not in anger, not in fear, not as a crutch, but as a way-shower.  Let someone outside of yourself show you that you are not alone.  Once this recognition registers in your soul, the part of your soul that has lain hidden will stir.  Cultivate this feeling as you experience it.  Given acknowledgment, it will flourish.  Then you will know that friends and support systems or not, you are never alone.

One Source

When you look upon another,

There I AM.

When you gaze into the eyes of a lover,

There I AM.

 

When you stroke another's face,

There I AM.

When you behold the human race,

There I AM.

 

There is nowhere you can gaze That I AM not.

This is the only lesson you've forgot.

When you can take these words and know them in your heart.

Then you will know that You and I can never be apart.

 

Take these words and hold them to your chest.

With this knowing in your heart you now can rest.

For all is One and nothing ever dies.

From the one Source all love and life it does arise.

Shocking ...

 "Oh God, creator of happiness and hatred …"  A shocking statement, perhaps.  "How can this be?"  For there is nothing but God.  From the most base element or thought to the most holy, all is Creation itself in expression.  How can you say, "That is God, and that is not"?  All are aspects of Love in evolution.

 

You are an aspect of God.  As such, you work in concert with the Conductor to create the most beautiful symphony possible.  Where there is hatred, yes, sow peace.  In so doing, do you not see how you are being used to raise the vibration of the whole?  Yes, all is one.  In oneness, nothing is left out, not evil, not hatred, not spite, nor vengeance.  All of these are merely reflections of a lack of visible light.  The light is there, waiting to be brightened.  All is Spirit.  All is God.  Call it what you will.  You are part of that Whole.  Won't you work to make the whole brighter?

Grab onto the Branch

Water swirls in little pools, following currents.  You often do the same, following patterns set before you, or pushed along by the patterns of others.  At times you get stuck in little eddies, going round and round, repeating the same action until finally released to drift along freely.  Then along comes another whirlpool, and you are sucked inside to go round and round yet again.

 

How do you break out of the cycle?  By overcoming the lesser force with greater.  There is always available to you a higher power that does not wish to see you struggle and feel trapped going round and round.  Grab onto the branch being offered you and break free.  Then you will flow.  Flow imbued with this power, no longer fighting with your will upstream or stuck in the eddy, but floating in the same direction. 

 

Now you are free, and isn't this the most wondrous, peaceful, feeling to drift past the eddies or course right over them?  This is who you are:  part of the flow.  You make the choice to be weak or powerful.  In surrender to the full force, you will find the power.

Sacred Sound

Chanting.  We ask you to give it a try.  Why?  For in the act of repeating a sound, you do experience the act of creation.  You come to a greater understanding of the Creator and of yourself as the same.

 

Find a quiet place.  Relax the body.  Breathe deeply for a few moments, then choose the sound of creation to begin:  Om.  A perfect vibration.  Your body will be well pleased with how this feels as you string one tone after another.  And then, as you intone this sacred sound, you will begin to understand how life works.  From the silence arises a vibration.  After it has been created, it is sustained.  Consciousness determines the length of its existence.  And then, after the fullness of experience, it returns to the silence, the cycle complete.  Like all cycles, it begins again:  creation, sustainment, and extinction.  Om.  Om.  Ommmmmm.

 

You may create a burst of short chants, or sustain many long tones in a row.  Do you see how you create?  Always from the silence, and always back to the silence does the vibration return, again and again.  And what is doing the creating?  Consciousness.  What is that which is created?  The Word. 

 

Play with Om and experience God.

The Orderly Stage

When you knock upon a door, it is opened.  Alas, it is not always opened by the one you expect.  You are not alone in this adventure you call life.  Others play vital roles.  All are cells in the body of the Creator, all serving the greater good.  At times you only see your influence upon what is most near and dear to you.  As a part of the whole, your influence and role is far greater than you imagine.  It is not diminished because there are so many others, but increased in value for the greatness you make up as a whole.

 

Realize that your desires may at times conflict with those of others.  Know that all is in perfect order and that order will always reign.  There is a Director of this great play who loves all of the actors.  If you stumble and bump into the role of another upon the stage from time to time, consult the Director.  All will be sorted out in favor of the grand production.  It is the Law … the Law of Love.

On Mind Reading

You ask how it is possible for one mind to know the thoughts of another.  You think this is some kind of magic, as if your mind is jumping across empty space, entering the mind encased inside a physical brain, and reading the inner workings of that physical apparatus.  As long as you adhere to this thinking, so-called mind reading, or what is known as telepathy will hold a magical mystery to you.  It is only when you understand that there is no emptiness between your mind and that of another that the magic disappears and logic enters the picture.  All is consciousness.  There is no beginning and end to consciousness, only a flow … a spectrum of vibration.

 

The space between your mind and that of another is merely a ribbon of vibration.  Feel the vibration of the ribbon and hear the thoughts, feel the emotions, know the other.  It is not magic nor mysticism.  It is reality.  The reality is:  all is One.  You are a focus of Infinite Divine Consciousness.  What will you do with that understanding?

Ever-Present

Love is in the air. 

Love is all around you. 

With beauty, light, and goodness,

Love it does surround you.

 

Do you feel a lack of love in your life?  Then, my friend, you are looking the wrong way.  Go within, where love resides.  There it is not a dark cave as you imagine the inside of your body to be.  We are not speaking of the body.  We are speaking of the flame of Consciousness, the spark of divinity, the ever-present, ever-glowing light of I AM that burns eternally within you as Spirit. 

 

You are not the body.  If you do not feel enough love in your life, then you are identifying with yourself as the body and not as the true loving, glowing, spirit-being that you are.  You are looking at others as bodies meant to give you love and bring you happiness, rather than the emerging spirit-beings that they are.

 

Cease the seeking.  Terminate the feeling of lack, and find that which you seek ever-present with you now, for it IS you.

Heal with Love

How many times have you turned your head away from an uncomfortable sight?  When you see one with a deformity or an infirmity that makes you feel uncomfortable, do you not wince inside and out and turn your head?  When you see a beggar on the street, do you look away?  The so-called problem does not go away, for the problem lies in the perception.  All is of God.  There is naught but love.  Remember this when you see something that makes you uncomfortable.  You may not understand this expression of the God force.  All you can control are your own reactions and your thoughts.

 

Would it not feel far better to send a blessing in such instances?  Instead of looking away, look within your heart.  Awaken your compassion and send love.  The rays of love are healing, and are felt at a level you may not perceive for not.  Do it anyway.  In this way, you help to heal the other, you raise your own vibration, and you help to heal your world.  Do this, and the discomfort you previously felt goes away—washed away by the far higher vibrations of love.

Perception of Perfection

Just like your concept of beauty, perfection is in the eye and mind of the beholder.  All is a matter of perception.  You as a temporary human being have been taught by other human beings the meaning of perfection.  You set it as a lofty goal.  You hold in your mind an ideal, and anything that falls short of this ideal is less than desirable.

 

Do you see how you cheat yourself and bring dissatisfaction into your life with this false belief that things should be better than they are?  You have perfection now, for all is in perfect order always.  It is your expectations which bring about dissatisfaction.  If you were to understand that all of creation is constantly changing and all is here for your growth and learning, then you would truly understand perfection from the larger view. 

 

You are perfect now as you are.  You are the perfect child of God, as are your brothers and sisters.  Love yourself and all others simply for being.  Then you will truly know and see perfection.

The Power of Prayer

What happens when you pray?  You set in motion a vibration.  Thoughts are aspects of consciousness, and consciousness is the creative force of the universe—that aspect of mind which you share with the One Divine Mind.  Using your consciousness in prayer, you create a link between you and that which you desire. 

 

Imagine a circuit between you and the desired outcome as a thing.  Until the prayer, this circuit exists in potentiality, but is unlighted.  Through the act of prayer, you activate this circuit and it lights up.   Seen now by your helpers, acknowledged by the Divine Mind, all forces can now conspire to activate whatever other circuitry is needed to fulfill this desire, this prayer.

 

Of course it is not exactly like this, but quite similar, and you do enjoy your analogies.  We wish you to understand how very powerful are your thoughts and prayers.  Light up the sky with prayers of peace and love for all mankind.  This type of prayer—that which benefits the greater good—carries the greatest power.  Never forget that you carry this Power within you.

Habits

Familiar  patterns of energy cause you to repeat the same actions time after time after time.  It is as if certain habits have become solidified.  What is matter and form, but energy following a specified pattern that Mind has brought into existence and that you now recognize.  Recognize how you have cemented certain actions, reactions, thoughts, and words into patterns.  Do they serve your Purpose?  Do they bring you happiness?  If not, it is you who breaks the pattern and forms new habits by creating with your thoughts.

 

Reactions, thoughts, and habits are not set in stone.  Stones represent quite slow, dense energy.  Energize your own awareness.  Stop harmful thoughts and reactions in your path and create new horizons.

The End of Illusion

 Coming toward you in the distance you see a figure dressed in a white robe.  Who could it be?  There is a radiance about the body—a luminous glow unlike any you have seen.  As this figure approaches, you cannot discern male or female, but the energy is pure love.  Are angels real?  If so, then this angelic apparition is that. 

 

It steps close to you—so close you can feel a tingling in your hands and feet.  Your heart swells as if to burst.  Tears of recognition well in your eyes.  "I have been waiting for you so long," you say.  And this radiant form nods in loving greeting.  Then, with one final step, it steps inside you, blending completely with you, and it is a perfect fit.  You now know completeness. 

 

"Where have you been?" you ask in wonder, and the voice answers, "I have been here all along, but you have been looking outside yourself for me.  A small illusion did I perform to get you to recognize me, but now you know:  We are One.  Breathe deeply now, my child, and welcome Me home."

Focus

Have you been loving enough?  Where are you focusing your love?  Is your focus on the self, on things of the material world, or on matters of the Spirit?  Do not berate yourself if you have been a bit human-focused of late.  You are, after all, a human, but it does take focus to remember that you are spirit first and foremost, love at your essence.  It is for this that we come:  to remind you … to give you these little nudges you call "coincidence" to let you know you are not alone. 

 

Find a way that suits you to remember who you are.  Find a method that causes you to stop in the middle of your self-focus and focus on the greater Self.  This will bring all else into greater focus as you remember that all that matters is that which never changes.

Use Your Will Wisely

A law is something unchangeable—

That on which you can rely.

In your world is Cause and Effect.

This Law you can't deny.

 

You think at times that chaos

Is in fact the norm.

But this is just a factor

Of the acts man does perform.

 

For man is free to choose at will

Just how he does create.

And so at times there's love and light,

And at others strife and hate.

 

It is your task to find the peace

That lies within the heart.

To know that of the laws of God

You are a vital part.

 

And when time comes to make a choice

Your heart and mind you'll still,

And there together with your Source

You'll wisely use your will.

No Limits

This is how it begins: with trust. Trust that the words will come. And then surrender. Surrendering the ego, which wants to say, “You are making this up.” But in your heart you know the truth: There is a greater aspect to all of you—far greater than your minds with their present focus on earthly things can imagine. Remove your focus from human attributes and yes—soar—as high as you can fly. There along the way you will meet guides and helpers and the Self … your Higher Self.

Pause while you enjoy this free flight and get to know your Self. It is hand-in-hand with this unlimited aspect of yourself that you will bring into your life all that you dream of accomplishing and all that you need to know. You will come back to earth again, of course, but once you have made the acquaintance with your unlimited Self you will never again settle for limitations.

How high can you fly? The sky is not the limit at all.

The Real "Wows"

Be not always seeking the big "wows" from Spirit—the giant pieces of evidence which leave your mouth gaping.  Seek instead evidence that Spirit is at work within you in more subtle ways as you go through every moment.  Watch yourself and see how you are changing as you awaken ever more to the true reality that you are Spirit.  Do you not feel more love for others?  Are you not feeling more compassion and less judgment? 

 

Are you still judging yourself too harshly?  Seek, then, this "wow":  to see yourself with equal compassion and understanding that you are learning to have for others.  Seek equanimity.  Seek peace.  These come subtly, but in the eyes of Spirit, these are truly "wows."

 

Lean In

The quiet rustle of leaves signals a presence.  Is it a small animal, an approaching stranger, or simply the presence of a breeze?  Listen more carefully.  You lean in and tilt the head, your senses on alert.  Yes, but what do you feel?  Is it danger or are you safe?  You are quite used to using this sensing faculty in this way, so why do you not think that you can sense other information simply by listening more carefully with the spirit?

 

All humans have so-called psychic abilities.  It is not magic.  It is simply an awareness of perturbations in the sea of energy in which you are immersed.  When your personal field feels the changes in waves of energy around and within you, you call this intuition.  Lean in.  Listen more closely.  This is called attunement.  There is no end to what you can discern when you open your mind to the reality beyond the senses and feel with the spirit.

Attraction in Action

Visualize success and it is yours,

For from your thoughts success it pours.

It's when you doubt, that then you fail

For thoughts of doubt then do prevail.

 

You will become that which you see

For in your mind your thoughts run free.

So harness them and give them shape

Constructing form like paper with tape.

Remember this important fact.

 

Together with Spirit you co-create.

If total success is to be your fate,

Then pray and act with success in mind

And the power you need is what you'll find.

 

This is not magic.  It's how Spirit shows

That all that exists from thought arose.

So hold your intentions perfectly clear

And all you desire will then draw near.
