Turtles
hide inside a shell—a tough, protective barrier. It is their best
defense, for they cannot run from a predator. Their teeth are sharp,
their jaws strong, but that is the last line of defense. You humans
are like the turtle. You hide inside your shell every chance you
get. When this no longer works, you run or you bite. It is all the
same.
What
if you had no exterior shell? Then you would be fully exposed. Be
forewarned: It will be so when you no longer carry about the body.
Then all your thoughts will be known. Naked will you be, of sorts,
with no way to hide. Worry not. So surrounded by love will you be
that you will not care. The irony is, you are surrounded by that
love now, but you cannot feel it for you hide behind your shell.
Think
about that for a while.
