The Eternal Flame

Lift up your eyes.  What do you see?  A light or darkness?  Even in the darkest of places there is a glimmer.  You call this hope.  We call this home.  Follow the tug that pulls you toward that glow and there you will find peace, even in the midst of chaos.  It is your pilot light, always there waiting to be turned up.  In a moment it can go from a glimmer to a glow to a full-force flame.  You ignite it with the recognition that it is there …with the recognition that it burns inside of you … with the recognition that you are never alone, and hence the warmth.
