Meeting in the Middle

You become distressed at the world around you.  You can always retreat inside.  Is this playing the ostrich?  Not at all.  This allows you to send peaceful vibrations into the world instead of adding to the maelstrom. 

When those around you become disturbed, pray watch them.  Observe their very human behavior.  Do you wish to partake of some of that dis-harmony?  Jump right in.  Does that help?  Did anything change?  Did you help to create more division?

What if you focus on peace and remain neutral?  “Then nothing will ever change!” you protest, and we bid you, try it.  From cooperation come agreements.  From competition and strife, dis-harmony.  Compromise occurs in the middle.  Take all back to the center.  It is where this all began.

Awake

Your Carl Jung had it right:  There is a collective unconscious.  Most of those walking about as humans are collectively unconscious of this fact.  You are, collectively, Consciousness.  You are individual consciousness.  Collectively, you make up the consciousness of mankind.  Do you get it?

Birds have consciousness, as do trees, plants, clouds, and bees.  Need we go on?  Consciousness is all there is.  You vibrate at a certain frequency of consciousness.  You resonate with others of a like vibration.  Together, all of life vibrates in a sea of Consciousness.  You are that Sea, collectively.  Your task in life is to become conscious of this fact.  The more you awaken and help others around you to do the same, the more you are collectively awake, and Carl Jung can finally rest in peace.

Note from Suzanne:  I have not heard reference to, read of, or thought of Carl Jung for as long as I can remember, yet Sanaya refers to him today.  I can't wait to see how soon until I come across his name.  In the meantime, I googled his name for a photo to include today, and up popped the exact photo of an iceberg that I use in my SOAR! workshop (to show that we are far more than we think we are), along with this great quote by Carl...

Playing God

So often others do not do as you wish.  This to you is frustrating.  It is frustrating for you are playing God.  You think you have the big picture.  Yes, it is true, you are all interconnected, all working for the greater good of the whole, but does a heart cell control a liver cell?  Does a brain cell try to tell a skin cell what to do?  Each has its own role.  Each contributes to the whole.  Yes, it is important to each that the other thrive, but they do mind their own business, for there is higher consciousness running the heart, the liver, the brain, and the skin, and yet an even higher consciousness running the whole show.

You become frustrated when others do not do what you envision they should do, either for their benefit or yours.  Can you find it in yourself to trust that there is a higher consciousness running your show and simply do your best in your role right now?  Life will flow as it is supposed to if you will but let it.

With Gentle Corrections

Blessed be the meek, and blessed be the mighty.  Always you try to categorize the human—to place labels dependent upon characteristics.  There is no one Being who judges one human against another.  The soul only judges itself.  You become quite skilled at this whilst in human form, but when you shed the skin the judgment of self by the self is with only love. 

Yes, there is regret when the soul recognizes lost opportunities to love, but it is not the critical, biting, hurting judgment that you know now.  Be easy on yourself and others now, as the spirit is.  All are truly blessed, for all are spirit.  As such, there is nothing to judge, merely to observe and to gently correct when higher choices can be made.

All the Same

Love thy neighbor as thyself.  Why is this so difficult to do?  Each of you thinks you are so separate.  You have your boundaries, staked off by land, possessions, and bodies.  These are artifices, illusions.  You are not just your brother’s keeper and your neighbor’s keeper—you are made of the same stardust as your brother and your neighbor.  Underneath the stardust you are even more the same—of the same Source, the same Father. 

Love thy Father with all your heart and soul and it becomes far easier to love your brother, your neighbor, yourself.  Why else do you think you exist?  What are you waiting for?  Tear down the walls.

Listen

Listening is an art … a skill.  Ego wants to chatter on and on about itself.  It will fill in every blank space, even when there is no one present to hear.  Listening requires silencing ego—taking full attention away from the little self and placing it upon the Greater Self.  This may mean listening to what appears to be empty silence, or it could mean listening to the story of another individual self who you call your friend or loved one.  All are part of the Greater Self—the One Divine Mind. 

Listen. 

What does the Mind have to say to you that you will not hear if you let ego chatter on?  You may be quite surprised.

Fill In The Blank

In all the world, there is nothing more important than _____________.  Aha!  And nothing follows the sentence!  You wait for us to give you a word, but for once we are silent.  Today it is your turn to fill in the blank.  Be not so hasty to do so.  There is no right or wrong answer.  This is not a test. 

Life is not pass or fail, my friend.  There are multiple answers to every question.  This causes you to stretch and grow.  The way you answer our question today may be different from the way you answer it a few now-moments from now.  At least, we hope so, for that will indicate that you are stretching your mind, making new choices, and experiencing growth.

Go back now and fill in the blank with no fear, no worry that you did not get it right.  Fill in the blank and test yourself:  How does it feel?  That is the true test of any choice.

… There now.  You’ve done it.  Live with your choice for a while, then pull it out again and choose again.  Isn’t it interesting, this game of Life?

That Place Called "Nowhere"

Look into another's eyes and there behold the soul--
That part of you that's always whole.
The soul it knows no judment; the soul knows only love,
Connected as it is to all above.

You think you are so limited,
That human life is all there is.
But when you gaze within the eyes,
You know where "nowhere" is.

"Nowhere" is that place of being
Where time and space are not ...
A place that in the human form
A part of you forgot.

It's from this place of "nowhere"
That spirit does arise.
A place of love, pure consciousness,
Far more glorious than the skies.

Fall into those deep, dark pools
Get lost in the abyss,
For there you find the place of peace
That in your soul you miss.

You long for it, for it's your home--
That "nowhere" place that's yours.
Call it heaven if you will,
Then step beyond its doors.

You live there now,
This part of you that sees beyond the eyes.
How grand is life, each blessed day
When this truth you realize.

The Web

You call it the matrix, the web, the field.  It is the womb of all creation.  It is the field from which all arises, and you are swimming in it, fully immersed.  You are blinded to it, for it is all you know.  Are you aware of your own consciousness?  Only when you take your very consciousness and focus it back on itself.  It is the same with your Source.

You are a part of this field, intricately interwoven with every strand.  What do you wish to know?  With whom do you wish to connect?  With Jesus?  With your departed loved ones?  With your neighbor who is now far away?  None of them is far away.  All are but strands in the very same web.  Think of them and set the strand a’shimmering.  See them in your mind—these shimmering strands of consciousness, and you are looking at yourself.

Recognize the Rhythm

In between the breaths, what do you have?  Before the outbreath, after the inbreath, there is stillness.  All of life is like this—action and stillness—action and reaction … yes, a recurring theme.  We repeat this often for so many of you become fearful of change, yet fearful of being stuck.  So much fear!

Change is a given.  Being stuck is not permanent.  Welcome change.  Like your breaths, each inbreath brings new life, new possibilities.  Each outbreath brings the possibility for more possibilities.  And in between you rest. 

All is a cycle.  Birth, followed by experienced, followed by transition.  Inbreath, stillness, outbreath, stillness.  Go with this flow of life instead of against it, and be not fearful.  You can be carried along by the current or swim upstream.  Many metaphors we give you today, but all for the purpose of sharing with you that your life need not be a struggle when you recognize the rhythm.

You Decide

All the world is a blank piece of paper on which you write in block letters or scripted calligraphy.  Pick up your pen.  Silence your mind, then move the pen as you are guided.  This is creation.  Where before there was only light, now there is contrast, and in the difference between light and dark there is meaning. 

You are the one holding the pen, but the entire Mind of Consciousness is your inkwell.  Dip into this limitless Source with your pen, and when you place it to the paper make the choice.  Will the lines be thick or thin, straight or swirled? 

This is creation.

Who moves the pen?  Is it you or are you being guided?  Ask this question in the silence, and then you decide.

Not So Long

Forever seems a very long time.  That is because you think in terms of time.  You cannot imagine a world without a beginning and an end.  Time is a construct … a convenience.  Were it not for time, you would be late for a very important date.  Without time, you would simply be.  You would simply exist.  You would experience now and be completely satisfied, not worrying about the future, not bemoaning the past.

If you knew nothing of time, forever would not be so incomprehensible.  It would make perfect sense.  Forever would simple mean now and now and now.  Forever IS, just as God IS and you ARE.  You are eternally you.  Forever is now.  It is quite simple to live forever.  Give up.  Surrender.  Simply melt into being. 

Now, is that so hard?

Flushed

Containment … these are efforts you make when trying to control damage that has been done.  You hold the bad things in a vessel and try not to let them spread.  Do not hold negative thoughts inside.  There they fester.  Allow them to disperse by flooding them with higher vibrations.  So dilute them they that do no harm to self or others.  And then continue the flushing, replacing old, worn out hazardous material with fresh and vibrant healthy ways of thinking and acting.

Do this, my friend, and you will be unable to contain yourself.  The true Self will then appear and shine upon all, no longer a prisoner, but free to be.

Note from Suzanne:  Yesterday’s message from Sanaya spoke about having compassion, and that one way to feel compassion was by looking at children and seeing their innocence and purity.  I typed up the message and posted it, then moved on to read my email.  There was a message from the woman who is helping to organize my upcoming events next month in Toronto.  She included a link to a website that I clicked on.  When the homepage opened, it literally took my breath away.  There were three very touching photos of YOUNG CHILDREN and this opening line:  “Just for a moment, imagine the suffering and fear of someone dying or starving, praying and wishing that COMPASSION would reach out and wipe the tears from their eyes-fill their soul with possibilities."

This kind of synchronicity stops you in your tracks.  Higher Consciousness (that in this case we call “Sanaya”) knew I would be reading that email.  What a way of letting me know that “they” are there and know my every move (or my every upcoming move!).  I was thinking of this as I sat to meditate this morning, and Sanaya’s message to all of us expanded on that thought …

 Yes, Big Brother is watching.  Or call it Big Sister, or the Father, or the Mother, or angels, or guides.  Call it what you want, but you are never truly alone.  How could you be, when there is only one Mind?

Ye are gods.  It is that simple.  Put another way, you, my friend, are God’s consciousness rolled into one little ball … a little lump of clay that God then molded into your shape and form.  You get to form your unique personality.  That is part of the fun.  But God breathes you.  God thinks through you.  God experiences Its creation through you.  God enjoys life through you.  God is All  That Is.  So, take that a step further, and how could you not be part of that?  Not ALL of that, of course, but an integral part of that, connected to All of that.  And so, how could the greater Mind not be part of you and know at all times what you are up to? 

If the thought that Big Brother is watching you makes you uncomfortable, then examine why, please.  This thought is meant to bring you great comfort and the knowing that you are well cared for.  If it does not, then ego overrules Spirit.  This is easily modified, starting with the awareness of this imbalance between ego and Spirit. 

Ego is the role player.  Spirit is eternal.  Step out of any role, thought, or action that makes you uncomfortable knowing that Big Brother is watching.  Step into the role that allows Big Brother to take your hand, pull you close, and embrace you fully.

Word of the Day: Compassion

Compassion is not a natural response for the ego.  The ego will go to any lengths to make you feel separate.  Compassion does the opposite—it shows you how very connected you are.  It is easy to feel compassion for a child who is hurt or sick.  In them you see innocence and purity.  Do you see?  In them you connect ego to spirit.

As the human ages, you learn human behaviors … ego behaviors.  These deepen the sense of separation.  To feel compassion for all beings, you must set aside the ego’s beliefs and see the purity—the little child, the hurting child, the sick child within even those you judge the most.  Yet again, do you see?  It is ego that judges.  Set ego aside and see all without judgment, but with compassion, most especially yourself.  The spirit will spring to life and sing with joy to have been set free and allowed to express its true nature.

Reasons

Cause and effect.  It affects all that you do.  It is a natural law—one that brings great order and predictability to your world.  For every action there is a reaction.  And so, something occurs in your life and you know not why.  Trace it back to the cause.  It is not always apparent or immediate.  Others may be involved, and somehow, at a level you cannot perceive, you are linked.

For every season there is a reason.  Why all the phrases about this one concept?  For it is so very prevalent in life.  What goes around comes around.  It is true.  Your very thoughts are causes.  They set in motion effects.  This is our point.  Pay attention to the causes—your thoughts.  What you think, you become.  Thoughts create.  Thoughts attract.  It is the law of cause and effect.

The Greatest Power

A great cliff drops straight down, and yet you stand at the edge of it.  You trust that you will not fall.  Why is this?  You are relying on the laws of the natural world to keep you safe—the law of gravity, the law of balance.  What do you know of the spiritual laws?  They are even stronger.    The greatest of these is the Law of Love, for it governs all that is. 

Love overcomes hatred, anger, and evil, for these have no power of their own.  Your scientists do not even know what gravity is, yet they know how to use it and how to overcome it for their advantage.  How many know how powerful love truly is?  It can, indeed, move mountains, if you would only use it.  It exists in every place, in every being, in every thing, for love is All That Is. 

Love shaped the mountains just as love shaped you.  You hold within your every cell, within your very consciousness the most powerful essence that is.  How will you use that power today?

Note from Suzanne:  I opened my eyes after receiving this message, and here's how the sun was coming in the window, just like the angel photo to the right.  This is only the second time this has happened, and the perfection of the alignment, especially in light of the fact that I have been reading about chakras for the past two days, is stunning.

Soft Voices

When it is so quiet that you can hear a pin drop, then you could actually hear a choir of angels sing.  Your brain shields you from the many voices passing through your energy field, and this is a very good thing, for there is nothing but energy all around you and passing through you.  When you do hear a voice in your head, we can help you to sort out which voice is worth listening to. 

Listen to your body when the message flits through the mind so quickly and softly that you are not quite sure you heard it.  How did that message feel?  Was it Truth?  If you are not sure, wait until you are in a place where you truly could hear a pin drop.  Calm the human mind with a few deep breaths, and ask for clarity.  “Was I making that up?” you may ask about the original message.  “What are You trying to tell me?” 

In this way of believing that there is a Source of wisdom speaking to you, and then having the intention of hearing the Answers, you open the communication circuits.  The final element is trust.  Belief, intention, and trust—the triad of truly hearing.

The Web

You see a frown and bristle.
Your anger flares as well.
If you were in the other’s mind,
Oh, what a tale their thoughts would tell.

All that you see’s not as you think
Yet instantly you fear
That others will cause threat and harm
To what you hold most dear.

Be not concerned with others’ acts
Their thoughts or ’ere their deeds.
Just focus on your inner thoughts
On your individual needs.

Each one is caught in his own web
And seldom understands
That each is well connected
By Spirit’s glistening strands.

So focus on your inner world
And what you radiate
For what you send into the web
Is what will be your fate.

Without Words

“There are no words to say …”  that is because words are so very limiting.  One culture has 26 words for a concept, yet another has one.  In one culture the very tone of voice changes the meaning of a word.  You experience a variety of emotions that cover a limitless scale, yet you attempt to put a word to each one.  How many shades of red are there?  How many shades of blue?  How many shades of love exist?

Do us a favor.  Look into the eyes of a loved one and feel the love, but do not put words to the experience.  Look at a beautiful scene in nature today, but deliberately delete the thought-words.  Omit verbal experience on purpose.  Simply feel it in its many shades, its many nuances.  In doing so, you have come a bit closer to your true nature and to the world which awaits you in all of its fullness.

You can spend a day in silence and still have thoughts that pass through your brain in the form of words.  This defeats the point we make today.  Silence even the thoughts and return to the most basic part of existence.  Experience this aspect of yourself and take a step toward infinity.

Your Inner E.R.

An emergency room – where you go when there is a crisis you cannot handle on your own.  There you are fixed up in a hurry by the experts.  You breathe a sigh of relief merely upon seeing the sign when you pull up, for you know that relief is close at hand.

 Your spiritual ER is always close at hand.  It is not down the road at a church.  That is for ongoing care.  Your emergency room is always with you—a portable MASH unit, so to speak.  Sit down in the waiting room.  Take multiple deep breaths as we take your vital signs, and then enter the patient’s cubicle with a deliberate shift in focus.  In this way you call on the healers, and our ministry begins. 

 Talk with us, and we will answer.  Ask for whatever you need, and if it is in your care plan, we will provide it, but always you must get yourself to this place to begin with.  From here—this place of peace within you—miracles begin.

Shine

May your presence be a blessing.  May others light up when you enter a room, for the light inside of you so shines that it illuminates their soul, awakening their remembrance how it feels to shine so brightly.  You have this ability—each one of you—to be a beacon, to gift others with your presence.  Do not waste a moment of your life being any less than you are—a shining, brilliant, ever-present star.

You have chosen your life for a purpose:  to express love in one of billions and trillions of forms, all made of the same powerful, creative essence.  Why would you limit yourself?  Shine.  Shine.  Shine until others must almost shade their eyes.  Then you will remember.

Blinding

“You will see with new eyes.”  This you interpret as physical vision, but it is a play on words.  As the spirit awakens and as you shed the focus on the physical, you allow in more of your natural light.  Where there is light, is there not more to be seen?  The more of your true self you embody—and we do mean this in the most literal sense—the more you “see.”

Do you not feel the increased connectedness?  Do you not experience more synchronicities?  Do you not see how all fits together as part of the One?  Get your sunglasses ready, my friend, for the light only gets brighter the more you look.

Weeding

How do you undo a habit?  Choose differently, over and over.  This requires conscious attention constantly.  Spiritual awakening does not happen by itself, nor does changing thoughts and behaviors which no longer fit the growing soul.  Once awakened, place attention on what is happening with the ego.  Find yourself a reminder.  When a trigger causes a habitual response emotionally, stop yourself as the awakened spirit that you are and choose a different reaction over and over until it becomes a new habit.  While you are at it, go back and look at the root of your habitual reaction.  What was the root cause?  Pull it out gently by the root and see it dissolving.  Now you are no longer creating karma, but helping to erase it so that your true nature can shine.

Constant Growth

Throw away your childish things.  Yes, you have just heard this, and yet we say it again.  We ask you to examine those thoughts and behaviors which are holding you firmly rooted in a particular vibration and are impeding your growth.  What is it in you that is childish in the sense of an unevolved soul?  Is it the need to defend yourself when wronged?  Is it the act of lashing out when another is less than loving?  Is it the need to judge or criticize?  All of these are behaviors of the ego, and along the spectrum of behaviors, these are indeed childish.  We imply no judgment in this word.  We simply use this term to awaken you to behaviors you would expect from a soul who is just awakening.  We are all growing—yes, even beyond the grave—and a little awareness never hurts, does it?  If it hurts, then throw away your childish things and remember who you are.

New Clothes

Throw away your childish toys which no longer serve you, for you have grown.  They no longer hold interest.  It is time to move on.  And so it goes as you progress along the path of wisdom as well.  That which you once thought was interesting now appears foolish.  Why is this?  You are vibrating at a higher frequency now.  Humor that makes fun of others reveals itself as hurtful.  Humans hurting other humans hurts you.  In a way, are these not childish games as well?  Yes, when viewed as a young soul versus one which has awakened a bit more. 

Be patient with yourself as you grow, but remain alert for signs of change as you outgrow your clothes one by one and grow into a whole new way of being.

Help is Here

What can you say to one who is hurting so badly?  Often, what will help the most is “I am here,” and then be sure that you are there.  Hold a hand.  Wipe a tear.  Talk of whatever they wish, or simply listen.  Whilst in their presence, or even if not, send waves of love.  Visualize them surrounded by a shaft of healing light.  In this way you give them strength. 

You are the presence of comfort, the very presence of strength.  Are these not the things all people pray for?  You are that in physical form.  You are a God-send. 

How can you fulfill your purpose today?

Light Basics

All is energy.  All is vibration.  All is consciousness.  You are spirit … energy, light, vibration, consciousness.  You are a light-being, only you perceive yourself as solid thanks to your brain.  It is light that heals, for light re-arranges the very cells in your body, made up as they are of vibrating light-energy.  To visualize someone as healthy, surround them in your mind with the highest healing light.  To end a missive with the words, “I send you light and love,” is, indeed, a blessing. 

“And then there was light, and it was good.”  Where have you heard this before?  “I am the light of the world.”  Where have you heard this before?  Do you think there might be something to this concept of light?

You cannot live without the light of the sun, and you cannot live without the light that is you.  It is that simple.  Turn up the light within and allow your true light to shine.  It is truly that simple to thrive.

Blinding

If you could see your true self, you would be blinded by its magnificence.  You are a radiant, luminous being of light … pure energy.  You may call it subtle energy, but it is anything but subtle.  It is the same energy that creates mountains and illuminates stars.  We see you as a brilliant, shining star when you radiate your most loving thoughts and a dim, but flickering light when doubt and fears take over your thoughts.

Shine on, little star, until you overcome these human traits and shine with the full effulgence of your birthright.

Perfect Right Now

You have all that you need as a spiritual being in this very moment.  This is not something you obtain.  You are that perfect spirit now.  It is, however, something which you awaken to, or you may understand it as “returning to.” 


You are and always have been perfect, unlimited, and connected with All That Is.  You did agree, however, to be denied the full awareness of your true nature so that you could make choices as a human being.  The very process of making choices removes the mask and reveals the spirit bit by bit.  A choice in one direction leaves the mask in place.  A choice in another direction reveals more of the perfection that is already there.  This choice can be as simple as, “Do I respond with love or with angry words?”  Not so simple for the human, perhaps, but when you make it your life’s quest to reveal the perfection that is You, the way is revealed far more often.

Reason to Celebrate!

Celebrate!  Celebrate your awakening.  Each morning as you open your eyes should be a celebration of awakening to yet more opportunities to grow in your awareness of yourself—your True Self—and to allow that Self to flourish.  How does it grow?  By setting ego aside and radiating love.  The more this occurs, the more Spirit awakens within you.  That is cause for celebration.

Every soul that grows in awareness of its power and its true Source adds to the Whole.  As each soul awakens bit by bit we celebrate.  This is a true birthday:  the day each soul remembers from whence it came and puts love at the forefront.  Now, that calls for a celebration!
