Rungs

Steps on a ladder … that is where you stand each moment.  All of life is about climbing that ladder ever closer to the highest rung.  Your Source resides upon every rung, but you feel It the most and have the most all-encompassing view from the top.  Meanwhile, as you climb you will leave some at the lower rungs and encounter others on those higher.  One rung is not better or worse than another.  These different levels merely represent greater awakening. 

Have compassion for those whose view is not yet all-encompassing.  They are on the self-same journey.  The climb is not always easy.  Help them along, but aim always for the next run.  Be satisfied, yes.  Know that you may slip back to a lower rung from time to time, but always will there be a loving hand reaching down to help you ascend higher.
