"Life is full of tests. They are not multiple choice. There is only one answer: Love." Suzanne Giesemann
Who is Sanaya? Suzanne Giesemann answers:
Who is Sanaya? Suzanne Giesemann answers: "Sanaya (pronounced "sah-NIGH-ah") has told us that she is a collective consciousness of minds with both a feminine and masculine energy. This energy comes from a higher dimension than our own. When I bring through Sanaya's words, I am "tapping in" to Higher Consciousness. I am allowing that Consciousness to express itself through my body: through my brain, through my vocal cords, my arms, my hands, and also through my pen. Sanaya would not need a name, except for our human need to put labels on things and place our experiences into well-defined boxes. Sanaya takes us outside the box into a dimension where we come face to face with our higher selves. To hear the words of Sanaya as they come through ... to sit in the presence of that energy ... is a palpable experience of higher vibration ... of love. To read Sanaya's words can have the same result when you tune in to that finer energy as you read." Selfless
Self-less acts: when you do something with no regard for
personal gain. Did you know this is impossible? It is impossible to do something from the
heart for another or a group of others and not gain in your own heart. In serving others you are raising the
consciousness, the spirit, the quality of the Whole of which you are a
part. You are “coming from the heart,”
and what flows out from you must flow back.
It is the Law. So, yes, think of
it as self-less if you will, but only in terms of the individual self with a
small s. All acts of the heart come from
the greater Self, which is Love.

Soul Nutrition
What are you feeding your mind? What kind of mental diet do you digest
daily? What you read and watch is as
important to the soul as food to the body.
Regular ingestion of lower vibrations maintains your over-all state of
consciousness in a state of indigestion.
Heartburn is the result of imbibing in foods that you call “rich.” Burned out is the feeling in the soul when
you are poor in spirit … when the heart longs for richer thoughts and concepts
than watching the cruelty and pain that those who slumber inflict upon
others. Perhaps it is time for a change.

Small vs. Big
Why do you do what you do? What is your motive? Ultimately, all actions come down to a desire
for love. It is that simple. When it becomes complicated is when the love
you seek is self-love, a false sense of needing to feel separate from your
fellow souls, instead of Self-love, which is the recognition that all souls are
one in Spirit.
When your thoughts are aligned with that greater Self, your actions will result in far greater peace, joy, and satisfaction. Why is this? It is a self-regulating system, nudging you every moment to move your focus from that more limited, smaller “s” to the big “S.” Love is always there, for you are that Self. Once the soul fully remembers this, there is no longer a need to seek love in ways that are less than beneficial to the Whole, but to simply be that which you are: Love.

Integration
Long distance travelers grow weary. All need rest at some point. Along the path you cannot be in a constant
state of doing without suffering imbalance.
Periods of merely being allow for integration of what is learned during
the doing. On and off, work and play,
doing and being. Seek balance, and even
in the rest there is growth.

Beneath the Surface
How do you find peace? By going within. Certainly, it can be found outside of you,
but not for long, for that is not the nature of the external world. There you may get shaken up a bit, tossed
about by the waves, and that is as it should be. But when you grow weary of the learning experiences
offered to you there on the surface, sink, sink, sink to the quiet waters
within. You cannot stay there forever,
either, nor does your soul want to, for it longs to stretch and grow. This is the nature of life: ongoing cycles of stretching, growth, rest,
and regeneration. You see it in nature
all around you. When you can see it and
recognize it within yourself, you can find peace even within the duality.

The Straightest Path
Cheating … when one arrives at a prize by not
following established rules … when one earns position, authority, success, or
gain of any kind by a crooked path. The
thought brings a concept of unfairness to mind.
The hair bristles. It is human
nature to desire the prize and to obtain it by the easiest methods. You can understand this. “Where is the fairness?” Right or wrong, fair or unfair … these are
human concepts. Cheating is a human
thing. You all arrive at the state of
mind you call Heaven—the grand prize—by following the path of the heart. Yes, all will arrive on the other side by
hook or crook, but the state of Consciousness with which you arrive will differ
based upon how you thought and acted whilst in human form. You cannot cheat death and you cannot trick
the soul, which knows only honesty and love.
Be pure love and go directly Home, to Heaven, which resides in your
heart, not some far off place.

In a World of Duality
To focus on the positive does not mean to put your
head in the sand. Sooner or later, as a
human, you must come up for air. You
look around you and you see what you call evil.
You know it, for it is in such dissonance with the heart and soul of
you. Denying it does not make it go
away, but you need not condone it nor accept it. There is a difference between allowing and
accepting. Accepting says, “I live in a
world of duality, but perhaps by helping to spread ripples of love I can make a
difference. And so, I allow these things
to unfold as they will, but I do not accept them as my path. I give no power to any-thing but Love. I see it, I recognize it, but I do not accept
this as my Truth. I AM Love.” With this mindset, and allowing others to
accept or reject their own truth, you find peace within the duality.

When the Impossible Becomes Possible
To dream the impossible dream … Yes, songs and
movies have been written from this phrase.
Lives have been rewritten as a result of it. So many fail to dream, and those who do,
dream only of possible things. How your
world would expand if you knew that anything is possible. You are a creative being born in the image
and likeness of the Creator. Does this
mean your Creator has two eyes, legs, and hands? Or does it mean the Creator is Consciousness
from which all that is—including you—has arisen?
Think of the impossibility that of the billions of beings who could have arisen from the union of billions of beings and cells YOU are here.
Anything is possible when you dream big enough, but does it serve the greater good? Is there a greater purpose in it? Ah, yes, there’s the rub. Put the two together—impossible dreams and greater purpose—and you have the keys to creation.

Fearless
Fear is an integral part of the human experience—a great
learning tool as well as a survival mechanism.
It is hard-wired into your system in the fight or flight response. Do not disdain fear, but appreciate it. But when there is no need or ability to flee,
examine which of your fears are truly necessary. Your survival, when you see with the eyes of
the soul, is assured.
There is no death.
From this perspective, there is no need to fear anything. It is only those who remain fixed in
human-ego consciousness who live with fear as a partner. Those who know the truths of the spirit may
still respond with fight or flight in the moment of human “beingness,” but upon
remembering who they are eternally, make the simplest shift of awareness, and
move beyond the fear to the heart. Here
peace prevails in the eternal awareness that there is only one Power, and that
Power is Love.
You are That. You come from That and live to express That. Fear is a beautiful reminder that you live for a while now in two worlds and can choose where you place your focus: on human or spirit, fear or love.

Ever Onward
Allow yourself to make what you call mistakes. We call them learning opportunities. You will have these opportunities repeatedly
for the rest of your life. A decision
made or an action taken which leads to a less than optimal outcome is not a mistake
if it leads to soul growth. Get used to
making mistakes, but instead of feeling regret, as you awaken more and more to who
you are and why you are here, feel gratitude instead that you always have
choices and always will. Set the
intention of making the optimal choices with the awareness that even those
choices will change as you grow.

Bonds
When one you have known passes from your life it is
a shock. You are so very used to having
their physical presence with you. You
see, feel, and hear the effects of a physical body and equate this with the one
you know and love. “I can’t believe they
no longer exist!” you think in this state of shock. “How can they be here one minute and gone the
next?” We wish you to know they are not
gone, and they most certainly exist.
What is gone is the physical presence.
Yes, this is a great loss, but we wish you to realize that the spirit of
that one is as near as your thoughts.
It is the human way to focus on the physical to the
exclusion of the spirit. Where was and
is your greatest connection? At the heart. Were it not for that bond, all else would
lose its importance. The body may be
gone, but the bond remains. That bond
was always of the spirit, soul-to-soul, and that soul is still with you.
Heaven is not a far off place. It is as near as your heart. You need only lessen your insistence and
focus on the physical aspects and learn to shift your awareness to the
spirit. You are That now. Go to the heart and connect. Have a conversation soul-to-soul. The one who has passed will rejoice. “Finally, she knows! Finally, he knows! I am here, and I love you.”
The soul is eternal. The body is not. Miss the physical presence as you will, but
realize the truth: Love lasts forever.

The Bridge
Build a bridge from your heart to the world, and
then you can go anywhere with confidence.
When connected to your Source at the center, you are aligned with and
guided by Love. Yes, you may stumble a bit
when walking amongst humans who have not yet discovered this sacred place, but you will never fall.
Be honest with yourself. When you have fallen in the past, were you in
alignment? Where was ego? At your side or tucked away where he belongs?
Remain in the center—not always the easiest thing
to do, but most certainly the most rewarding—and you will always arrive safely Home. You never really left, you
know. With this realization, you come to
understand that the bridge from the heart is a bridge that takes you right back
where you started.Monday, January 19, 2015
A Different Kind of Power
All the wisdom of the Universe is held within a
fingernail and within one tiny cell of that nail. There is no more power in your entire body
than in one hair on your body. All that
exists is your Source in form, as is all that you cannot see.
Such power you will acquire when you surrender to this knowledge, to this Awareness, to this wisdom. But it is not the human kind of power that wishes to lord over others. Instead, it is a Power that wishes only to experience, to be, and to love. With such a power there are no more needs, no more desires, no more angst. With such a power you can move mountains, but you are now content to simply be in the presence of those mountains and enjoy their majesty, knowing that same Majesty flows through you.
If you begin to feel overwhelmed this day, be still, contemplate your fingernail, and relax.

Starting Anew
As you bounce back from a deep challenge, you start anew. There is no need to revisit it and relive it again and again. Do you do this? If it is to see how you can avoid such a challenge again or how you could respond more lovingly should it recur, then reliving it is beneficial. If it is to merely rehash the lower vibrations, beware. Start anew each moment of your existence. The past is the past. Drag nothing with you but lessons learned and the will to evolve. In so doing, your challenges become gifts and not baggage.

For a Reason
So
many wish to take their own lives when a loved one passes. So closely bonded are you that you feel as if
a part of you and in some cases the whole of you is gone. May it help in some way to know that they are
closer than your breath, as near as your thoughts, and most certainly connected
to your heart.
Now, what of this use of free will in which you take your life into your own hands? Do you not know that there is remedial schooling and a sort of hospitalization for those who do this? You will remain segregated upon passing from those you most wanted to be reunited with. Yes, there will be visits, just as your loved one’s spirit visits you now, but you reap what you sow on the other side as much as you do in this one. There are consequences for every action. The pain caused to those left behind is commensurate with what you will feel upon realizing that your choice was far from optimal.
Do you know why you are still here and your loved one is not? Simply because you are here for your own soul’s growth. You soul made this decision, and you have yet more learning and loving to do. The pain you feel is an indicator of this. Your loved ones on the other side are patient now that they have the greater perspective. To them your absence is only the blink of an eye. To you it seems an eternity, but you have all of eternity to be together again.
Allow Spirit to decide when you will be reunited again and enjoy a most blessed and fruitful reunion. In the meantime, breathe deeply often and pray, “Oh, Spirit, may I feel your presence. Tell me what I have to learn from this time. Show me how I can grow and serve as a result of this pain. I am so grateful for the love we shared, that we continue to share, and will always share.”
Love is eternal, as is Life. You have a Lifetime to be with your love. This is but a parenthesis in eternity.
Note from Suzanne: The last line, “A Parenthesis in Eternity,” is the title of an excellent book by Joel Goldsmith that discusses the illusory boundaries we call birth and death.

Who You Are
When you gaze upon another, see the face of God, of
Spirit. It comes in billions of forms,
not just human, but all that is. As for
the human aspects of the divine, it expresses itself in many ways, many of
which you may not find pleasant or even likeable. Know that the same “I” who is inside of you
is inside of all others, no matter if you resonate with a person or not.
See beyond the façade, and the personality, and the
way that one has chosen to express their divinity to the pure potential aspect
of their spirit. The I AM that lies
within you is the same I AM in all others.
It is through taking on those potentials in the form of form and
personality that the I AM displays itself as “i am.” Whether or not you resonate with that i am …
I AM. How does that change things for
you?

On Loan
Your body is on loan to you. It is a gift.
When you own a thing, do you not have a tendency to take it for granted
and to not treat it as carefully as if you know it belongs to Another? Treat it with kid gloves. What does this mean? Handle it with care, lest you have to return
it and explain why you were so careless.
Now, knowing that this vessel which houses your
spirit is not really yours, why do you also take credit for its ailments? “My cold, my cancer, my heart attack,” and
the like. If the vessel you have
borrowed is not quite perfect, is that a result of how you have treated it or
was it slightly imperfect to begin with?
No matter! The one who is
temporarily using that vessel is perfect, beautiful, and eternal. You have borrowed and agreed to use your
vessel for a very good and valuable purpose: to let your light shine. How are you doing at that?

Finding Peace
Nothing lasts forever—not good times or bad. Remember this when you are joyous or
distraught. Why? Because joy and despair are merely opposite
experiences along a spectrum you call human life. If you can recognize that these changing
states are reflections of your humanness, then you can recognize that there is
another aspect of yourself.
Picture three points of a triangle. Place joy at one point, perhaps the lower
right, and despair at the opposite point on the left, and another point between
the two but high above. That point
represents the place of peace. Now cast
a three dimensional sphere around that upper point. It encompasses both the joy and the despair
and all points in between and around.
That sphere represents the possibilities of all human experience which
are yours to enjoy or not to enjoy.
When you are ready for some peace, return to that
upper point of the triangle, which you can see now is also the very center of
the sphere. It is there at the center of
you. So now we must modify our initial
statement in light of this new understanding.
Nothing lasts forever in the human experience except the eternal point
of peace at the center … which is the center of Consciousness … the eternal I
AM.

Giving Meaning
Where do memories come from? Not from the brain. They are not stored there any more than your
current thoughts are. Memories are just
current thoughts that continue to exist as vibration. Each exists as a pattern … a frequency that
your beautiful instrument of a brain detects and displays for you as
needed. It is you who gives that
frequency meaning. It is you who allows
those eternal thought patterns to affect you.
And now, the big announcement: You exist as a thought-pattern. Of whom or of what? Of the One Divine Mind. It is you who gives meaning to Life, but only after you give meaning to YOUR life … the Life experiences you are having now. How will you color them with your seemingly individual mind? With black paint or gold? With lower thoughts or love-filled gems?
All is Consciousness and you are That. Let memories hold no sway over you unless they lead you to a greater experience of Love.

Finding Peace
How do you spell “relief”? P-E-A-C-E.
How do you find peace? In your
very own thoughts and observations. It
is not a thing outside of yourself. You
can experience peace even in the midst of what most would label a disaster if
you come so thoroughly to recognize the difference between your two
aspects: human and spirit. The human, ruled by ego, has a completely
different viewpoint than that of spirit.
The viewpoint of ego roams all about a dance floor. Spirit views the dance floor form above, from
a central viewpoint where all is seen and observed with equanimity. The difference in peace is substantial.
How do you find relief? Go to the center and rise above. Ah, yes.
There it is, and there You are.

Digging In
Allow, allow, allow. What does this mean? When you dig in your heels, no matter the
reason, life cannot flow. You become
stuck in a pattern of thoughts or actions, no matter how “saintly,” and growth
does not occur. Taking a strong
position, even if you are sure it is “spiritual” or “correct” will always
impede the flow of Life, because you now must defend it and are not open to
change and other viewpoints.
All of Life is about growth of the soul, which requires
change. Even the soul is changing. The only “thing” that never changes is the
underlying Absolute, which few in human form experience. When they do so, it is only for the briefest
of ecstatic moments. Until that moment
of eternal bliss, relax. Relax your
standards, relax your belief systems, relax your jaw. It is all okay. All of it.
All is part of the great Tapestry of Life.

This note from one of Sanaya's followers made my day:
"Suzanne, I just have to share this with you! My husband and I were at the new (grocery store) yesterday. As we were checking out it became clear very quickly the gentleman ringing up the groceries was a new trainee. Unsure of himself, slow, grappling with price codes and such. No judgement intended here, just observation. Before we left the house, I had just finished listening to and reading the transcript from this past Sunday's session with Sanaya about the costumes we wear, especially the analogy they gave you regarding the Spiderman costume and the little boy.
Before my ego got a chance to rear up concerning the new employee, Sanaya's message overpowered it. It gave me the image of unzipping this young man's costume and seeing Jesus step out of it. Then it struck me! Here's the Christ consciousness in physical form, learning what it feels like to be a checker in a grocery store! Feeling the lack of confidence, frustration, being extra cautious packing the items, trying to be cheerful but feeling the impatience of the customer, all of those emotions. I stood there seeing that scene, smiling from ear to ear and my heart overflowed with love for this guy."

Habitual
Your so-called “bad” habits are at times deeply ingrained. They come from a lifetime of beliefs that are
out of alignment with your true nature as spirit. Some you can shuck off quite easily, once
recognized. Others are a bit more
tenacious. Be patient. Life will continue to give you uncomfortable
and yes, at times, painful lessons surrounding these beliefs and habits until
you no longer care to cling to them a moment longer. At that point the light will go on and you
will fling them away, finished with them once and for all. How much discomfort are you willing to
tolerate? It is always your choice.

In Acknowledgment
Why don’t
you try something different in your prayers?
Instead of asking for favors, why don’t you simply acknowledge the Presence
of Spirit—of God—in and around you? Sit
in silence for a moment and simply acknowledge the I AM. Acknowledge Love. And then, having acknowledged that this Power
is immanent—in and around all that is—sit in gratitude. What a blessing to be part of That! What a
blessing to know and acknowledge That!
What a blessing to claim That as your own and that of all others. With that acknowledgment, what is there to
pray for? What is left is
gratitude for new understanding, for soul growth, and for new awareness that
allows you to accept, to trust, and to be at peace.

Shifting
You do this to yourself. Can you be honest and see that this is
true? It is easy to throw the blame at
others for your stress, anger, or frustration, but why do you have so many
things on your plate? Why is there not
enough time? You have become unbalanced
to the point where you have forgotten truth number one: you are a spirit-being first and
foremost. Can you rise above all of the
angst and laugh at yourself for taking yourself so seriously? Seriously.
Laughing. Do you see the
polarity? From teeth-grinding to
laughter, as a human you run the whole gamut.
As a spirit-being you know the way to find peace. It takes but a shift of focus and one deep,
slow breath. Ah, there … is that not
better? Now go back and look at your
life. What can you change in you?

What You Are
Why are you drawn to roses more than weeds? To harmonious music more than raucous notes? The soul recognizes beauty, light, and
harmony. The senses are attuned to
such. It is part of the perfection of
the human body and of All That Is to lead the soul to recognize its innate beauty,
light, and harmony.
You are a rose inside. You are a beautiful symphony. You are Love itself seeking always to return
to a state of perfection. Be that which
you are and be in harmony with Life itself.
Are you feeling out of sorts, out of balance? Do not look for love. Be love, little rose.

Going Direct
Decisions come at you from left and right. At times your life can seem overwhelming. Many are more than happy to let others make
their decisions for them, be that other a partner, a parent, or a psychic. In your heart you already know the answers—what
decision or choice to make. This is your
inner parent, inner partner, inner psychic.
It is the head ruled by ego that brings on the doubt and fear. Do not listen to ego. Go straight to the heart whose partner you would
know as the “gut.” They work in unison
to give you that gut feeling. Is it
clenched? Make sure it is not being
influenced by ego. Clear the slate and
state, “I know nothing. Heart, what is
the answer?” and then tune in to heart and gut again. If still clenched, that is your “no”
answer. If all is open and free-feeling,
that is your go-ahead, your green light.
Do you see?
You are a slave to no man or woman for answers. All answers lie within, and the heart is the
direct bridge to Spirit.

Growth
Are there regrets when you get to the other
side? Yes, of course. The slate is not wiped clean. Where would be the learning in that? Where would be the soul growth? Where would be the balance? Do you see how it behooves you to make your
amends and learn forgiveness here and now?
Here and now is all you ever have.
You reap what you sow. Now, if
you are feeling disappointment or let down at the thought of no forgiveness,
you do not understand. You will be met
by Love. It can be no other way, for all
is of Love, but growth—like Life itself—is ongoing. Leaving this place early or late makes no
difference as far as the cessation of soul growth, but you do learn oh so much
more quickly whilst in a human suit. So
be not in a hurry, but bring Home to you by seeking and finding growth of the
soul where ‘ere you can.

In Progress
There are certain things those on the other side
will withhold from you. Why do you think
that all should be known immediately?
Each of you, whether here or in the hereafter is a soul—one aspect of
the Love that birthed you. Each soul
exists to grow and evolve in becoming ever more bright like its Source. If all were made known, where would be the growth?
What can you learn from the frustration you feel at
not knowing all? Why would others have
secrets or be unwilling to share? It is
all part of the dance. Every relationship
exists for a purpose. Growth does not
end at the death of the physical body.
You learn what will help you to evolve as you are meant to learn it,
whether through your own spiritual growth or that of those with whom you are in
relation. Be patient with yourself and
others. You are all works in progress.

Beauty
How often do you look for feedback from another,
for verbal confirmation that you have done well, look good, sound good, are
good, and so forth? From where comes
this insecurity, this need for confirmation and approval? It is a tool of the separate self that looks
around and compares, that innately feels lesser, unsure, and insecure.
The real you is naught but Love, born of Spirit, a
carrier wave of the Power that birthed you and breathes you. As you become more aware of ego’s choke hold
on you, set aside your insecurities and step into your real power. This does not involve boasting or over-confidence. Those are also of ego. This entails a quiet gratitude that allows
you to breathe more freely and to see things around you which you had not
noticed before in your restricted, self-focused state. Look around you today and see the Beauty. You are part of That, so you can relax now.

Abundance
Money is a wonderful tool of the ego. Why?
Because it is a great separator.
There will always be ways to use money to compare with others: more or less, better or worse. When you make comparisons and assign
attributes such as “enough” or “not enough” fear comes into play. Ego loves fear. Fear keeps you a slave to ego, and for some
there is nothing that brings more fear than “not enough.”
When is enough enough? How much do you need? Examine your beliefs surrounding money. How many of them are carried forward from
your family history? How many are
learned? How many serve you? How many keep you from being free of ego and
aligning with your true Self?
Money: a
blessing or a necessary evil or neither?
You give money its meaning. Which
meaning will help you find peace? As
always, the choice is yours.

Costumes
You are all wearing a costume. Some of you know this, but most do not
realize it. The costume so disguises the
real You that you begin to identify with the costume that looks back from the
mirror. When you look upon another, see
not the costume, but know that Spirit is the real source of who you see. Were it not for Love coursing through the
veins of that one and of you, you would not be witness to that one. See beyond the outer cover for the Love that
may be hidden. With new sight comes new
perspective. Change your perspectives,
which have become habits, and discover a whole new level of freedom within
yourself.
