Who is Sanaya? Suzanne Giesemann answers:

Who is Sanaya? Suzanne Giesemann answers: "Sanaya (pronounced "sah-NIGH-ah") has told us that she is a collective consciousness of minds with both a feminine and masculine energy. This energy comes from a higher dimension than our own. When I bring through Sanaya's words, I am "tapping in" to Higher Consciousness. I am allowing that Consciousness to express itself through my body: through my brain, through my vocal cords, my arms, my hands, and also through my pen. Sanaya would not need a name, except for our human need to put labels on things and place our experiences into well-defined boxes. Sanaya takes us outside the box into a dimension where we come face to face with our higher selves. To hear the words of Sanaya as they come through ... to sit in the presence of that energy ... is a palpable experience of higher vibration ... of love. To read Sanaya's words can have the same result when you tune in to that finer energy as you read." Strong at Heart

“Life is not for the faint at heart.”  That is why you are given a heart.  When you feel you cannot go on, place your focus there, in the center of your chest.  The center of you is also the center of the Universe ... the center of All That Is.  The world truly does revolve around you, for there is only one Center.  At the center of it all is Love in the form of Consciousness that creates all experiences.  You are experiencing life through one aspect of the One Divine Mind.  Yes, others are, too, of course, and they are each the center of their own universes, but all of it goes back to the center of it all.
Do not become frustrated.  It is a bit much to wrap your head around, which is why we advise you to move to the heart when things get to be too much.  There you are home.  There you rejoin the One ... the one who give you strength, courage, and love when you are feeling faint at heart.  You are never alone.  You are loved beyond words.

Focused

Note from Suzanne:  Today’s message came after I caught the old “monkey mind” chattering away during meditation.   Sanaya's words apply, as always, to so many situations we face throughout the day.

Distractions abound.  What is a distraction, but anything that takes your mind away from its intended focus.  Even those things you label “good” can be distractions.  How important is your goal?  Increase your focus and practice keeping distractions at bay.  It is you who allows them to have power.  They will always be there.  Use discernment to determine what is a necessity and what is merely a distraction.  Ego will send distractions buzzing your way like pesky flies throughout your day.  It is you who must shoo them away by harnessing the power of consciousness.

Stepping Out

When you go along with the crowd all of the time, you can get lost in there.  The view from the middle of the flock is only of the other sheep.  Venture to the edges and the view changes.  Slip outside the fence for a bit of fun.  You may hear a bit of shouting, but what you bring back with you when the shepherd leads you home will add greatly to the whole flock, most especially those who were too timid to see beyond the limits of the group.  It is only by having the courage to step outside the boundaries imposed by group thinking that you grow.

What Matters Most

And so, one person pays you attention and they are a person with power, or position, or wealth.  And so, you beam.  Why is this person of any greater importance to you than any other?  The ego would have you think that such attention makes you greater, more powerful as a result.  Do you see the fallacy in this?  All are children of God, all equal in the eyes of Spirit.  That one with great power may have fame and fortune, but no love.  That other with no fame, or fortune,  or power may be filled to overflowing with love.  Now, which brings you the greatest treasure?  Simply be aware of the ego trying to play his little tricks on you and to take your focus off of what matters most.

Self Love

When you see one who carries more weight than the body was designed to carry, know that they carry a burden much greater than the physical one.  It is a visible sign of a lack of alignment with the true nature.  View that being not with judgment, but with great compassion, for there are wounds they are not facing.  Surround them with love and light, knowing that this is what will help more than anything until they can shine that light onto their wounds and heal the wounds themself.  It is not a matter of right or wrong, of beauty or not, but of not fully knowing and loving the self.

We love you so very much.

Everything to Gain

When you find yourself saying, “What the heck, I have nothing to lose,” then you have already won.  At that point, you are ready to surrender your fears and doubts, and then the limitless possibilities can begin to take shape.  Need we say more?  We could ask you to list those things you think you could lose, and then you might go back to that place of fear. But then again, you might just see then how those fears and doubts falsely keep you from achieving your magnificence.  That part of you is never lost, just buried for a while until you come to the point where you realize that the only thing you need do is lose the fear and find peace.

Learning Opportunities

Who is in charge here?  Is it you or is it a joint effort?  Who would be the one pulling your strings?  Does it matter what you call the Guiding Force that gives you life?  Not at all.  What matters is that you realize you never act alone.  Yes, you can exert free will.  What a learning opportunity that affords you!  Or you can do the opposite and surrender that pesky ego.  Either way, life goes on.  It can be no other way.  You can go it alone, which is how ego would like you to think you are, or you can take the Loving Hand that is offered you and allow yourself to be guided.

Checking In

What are your priorities?  When they are in order, everything will get done in perfect order.  “But I must do this or that!” you think.  When you hear yourself say these words, stop and assess your priorities.  Is love and connection at the top of the list?  Perhaps that is love and connection with one you have forsaken for your other priorities.  Perhaps that is love and connection with yourself, who you have forsaken for the sake of others.  The key is to stop and assess.  Your heart will tell you what to do.

In Balance

Balance and alignment.  You do this on a regular basis to your car, do you not?  If you fail to do this, the car wobbles and does not ride efficiently.  How do you balance the self?  Listen to your thoughts.  Are you in alignment with your highest nature?  How do you know?  You go to the center of the soul—the heart.  This is the seat of the soul—the driver’s seat.  When you let the head drive your actions, you wobble just like the car.  Seek balance and alignment in all things, beginning with your thoughts.

Getting "now-where"

When you are harried or rushed, life can easily pass you by.  What does this mean?  Life is ongoing all around you in this now-moment.  Imagine yourself in a car.  The illusion is that you are moving past the scenery—going, going, going here and there, when in fact, in every moment you are simply here, now.  Just as your movies are simply one frame after another after another, the movement is an illusion.  Stop and notice each frame of your life.  Do not become so caught up in the rush of “getting somewhere” that you miss the beautiful scenery and events around you in this very now-moment.

Softening

When one with whom you commune does not see or think or act your way, do not try to sway them.  Allow them to be as they are.  It is not your task to change anyone.  Don’t you have enough of a challenge dealing with your own Little Voice?  Keep your outer voice to yourself when one does not send as much love as you would like, and then you go ahead and send as much love as you would like to that one.  She or he may not change, but you will.  You will soften, no longer rigidly requiring that things and people go your way.  Oh, my.  Would that not be a relief?

All Connected

Interdependence … this applies to you more than you know.  It becomes so easy to think you can survive on your own, but do not let that thought overtake your purpose (to be the presence of Love).  Were it not for your parents, you would not be here.  Were it not for the food supplied to you, you would not be here.  Were it not for the trees and plants which give you oxygen, you would not be here.  Were it not for the very Source that gives you breath, you would not be here, and yet you think you are the center of the Universe.

We hope that you will look about you and see that the concept of being alone and independent is an illusion.  There is nothing wrong in being dependent on another.  You are dependent on All That Is, and is that so bad?  Rejoice in your interdependence.  Celebrate it, for without it, you would not exist.

With Passion

Compassion.  Look at the word.  It carries the meaning “with passion.”  You so often equate passion with sexual love, but here we ask you to love all others with great spiritual love.  Go straight to the heart of that other who may not look or act as you do and see them as a fellow journeyer who may or may not realize the great journey of the soul that they are on.  With passion send them a smile of recognition.  With passion send them a prayer that they too may find peace in their heart.  With passion will you change the world.

Straight to the Point

Love and fear.  Love and fear.  They are circular when you are in human form.  You experience love, and when the feeling goes away, you feel fear that you will never have that feeling again.  Then you come back to a place of love.  On and on goes this cycle of chasing your tail, yes, like the ouroboros, the snake that ate its own tail.  Your journey is one of discovery.  When you discover that all there is is love and that it exists at your center and at the center of all that is, then you will stop the endless cycling and dive straight to the center point.  Learning to do that is the point of being human.  Have no fear.  You are love(d).

Slowly ...

Do you know why slow, deep breathing helps you to calm down and find peace?  Of course there are the physiologic effects, but what of the spiritual?  When you inhale deeply, the focus of the mind goes to the location within the body where expansion is occurring.  And look!  What else is in this place?  The heart!  You are drawn naturally to the seat of the soul.  The focus leaves the head and rests for a while in the place of peace.  Follow the breaths straight to the heart when thoughts want to overtake you.  You cannot race and breathe slowly.  If the mind is racing, breathe slowly and settle naturally into the slow pace of peace.

Sparkling Clean

Cleanse, cleanse, cleanse.  You take a shower every day to clean the physical body, yet what do you do to clean the energetic body?  And suddenly you find yourself out of sorts and you don’t know why?  Why, it’s very simple:  your energetic body is gunked up.  There are methods of clearing the energy that is no longer needed, and all of them are effective, but only if you use them.  Shower daily with soap and water, and yes, with Light.  Then your physical body will smell sweet and clean and your spirit will positively sparkle.

At the Roots

Return to your roots.  We are not speaking of your earthly ancestry, but the aspect of you that arises from Spirit.  If you like the analogy, picture a great and mighty tree, full of wisdom.  All humans are but leaves on that tree.  You gather on various branches and give yourselves different names based upon which branch you inhabit.  Soon you forget that all of you are part of the same tree.  Return to the roots—your Source of nourishment—the very Source of your existence, and you will see your commonality.  Why do you fight and squabble?  Why do you look at differences when you are all connected at the roots?

Oh, my goodness

Life is good.  You put this on your t-shirts, and it is Truth.  When you have this as your fundamental belief, goodness flows.  Anything less than goodness is simply a thought system in need of correction, and the basic goodness of the Universe will ensure that the correction is made.  Radiate the goodness that is inside you, that IS you, and good things will come unto you.  May goodness and light follow wherever you go.  This is a prayer you may repeat until you see the goodness in all things, but know that it is Truth.  Darkness is merely ignorance of this basic fact of Life.

Just Words

Praise verses condemnation.  You happily accept the one and eschew the other.  You have grown accustomed to reacting to praise with positive emotions.  As a child, those who were important to you stroked you as they said loving things about you.  Perhaps words of condemnation were accompanied by negative vibrations which triggered accompanying emotions.  Can you see the cause and effect at play here?

All words are neutral.  It is how the mind processes them that causes the hormonal and thus emotional reaction.  Praise and condemnation are equal.  They are merely words.  When you can learn to not let either affect how much love you feel for yourself, then the love you feel for yourself will not waver.

Light

What is it that makes a painting come alive?  It is the play of the light against the dark.  Light shimmers, attracting the eye, and it is magical.  You are drawn to light in all of its forms, for the heart recognizes it.  Some may actually enjoy darkness for a while, but eventually light calls.  It is the natural order of things, to seek the light.  Shine a light on that which is dark inside of you, and you will begin to shimmer, too.  Do not be afraid of the darkness, but be thankful for the role that it plays in leading you home.
