Never in the history of your world has there been a man who could fly. You are rooted to your earth for a purpose. Were man meant to fly, he would have been given wings. Other creatures have wings, but they do not have the great gifts that man has. Use them wisely, these gifts of reason, intellect, and choice. Use them to choose compassion and love when the instinctual protectiveness of other animals would have you choose elsewise. You do not have wings to fly away. You must stand firmly where you are and make choices. Choose well. Choose love, and let your spirit fly free. Do you see how it works?
Who is Sanaya? Suzanne Giesemann answers:
Who is Sanaya? Suzanne Giesemann answers: "Sanaya (pronounced "sah-NIGH-ah") has told us that she is a collective consciousness of minds with both a feminine and masculine energy. This energy comes from a higher dimension than our own. When I bring through Sanaya's words, I am "tapping in" to Higher Consciousness. I am allowing that Consciousness to express itself through my body: through my brain, through my vocal cords, my arms, my hands, and also through my pen. Sanaya would not need a name, except for our human need to put labels on things and place our experiences into well-defined boxes. Sanaya takes us outside the box into a dimension where we come face to face with our higher selves. To hear the words of Sanaya as they come through ... to sit in the presence of that energy ... is a palpable experience of higher vibration ... of love. To read Sanaya's words can have the same result when you tune in to that finer energy as you read." (To read the full explanation of who and what Sanaya is along with transcripts of longer sessions click here.)

There is no good, better, and best in our world. Those are all judgments. In our experience, there is only vibration. How does it feel? The soul will tell you what is of a higher vibration, and to that you will be attracted. Good, better, and best are of the mind. “Ahhhhhh” vs. “Ohhhh!” are of the heart. Can you tune in to the vibrations around you more? In so doing, you will experience far less mental angst. Get rid of words, get rid of thinking, and focus on feeling. In so doing, you will slide from “Ohhhh!” to “Ahhhhh ...” and be far more peaceful in the process.

Victory comes to those who stay in the game. It is always easier to step off the field and sit on the sidelines, but far more beneficial to participate. Yes, you would like to take a time-out from time to time, and that is quite understandable. It is also quite acceptable, unless you check out for so long that the body grows stiff. Remain limber. Remain flexible. Stay in the game, but rely on your teammates for assistance. You are not a solo player, and you need not be the star. You are all equal players, all equally important. What is victory? It is the satisfaction that comes from having stayed in the game and having done your best. In that regard, all are winners. Play on in this game of life. Give it your best, even when you get kicked around a bit. In reality, there is no score.

Forgetfulness. Where do the thoughts go which you are trying to remember? They are still there. Thoughts are energy. They do not go away. You must merely place the intention of matching the frequency of the concept you are trying to remember and send that intention outward. It will catch the intended thought as a fly to flypaper. You need simply let the intention do its job. Do you wave flypaper around hoping to catch a random fly? What a sticky mess that would make! No. Once hung out there, you simply relax and allow it to work. When that which you are hoping to attract is caught you will know it. Do you see how it works? The thoughts are no more in your brain than a fly is. They are buzzing around like the energy you hear crackling in high wires, for all is one great hive of energy.

Every rose must have its thorns. They are protective devices, don’t you see? The rose is so beautiful that the thorns keep away those who might grab them up by the bundles. But not all beautiful flowers have thorns. What is it with the rose? It is there to teach you a lesson. Are you not attracted to roses? Are they not the symbols of love? Do you not give and receive them on occasions of sharing love?
You are as beautiful as a rose inside and out, yet do you not project your own thorns at times, doing your best to keep others at bay? You have your protective measures, and you feel they are necessary. Your florists cut off the thorns, and the roses are just as beautiful. Can you do the same? You are loved, thorns and all, but they are not truly necessary. In time, with evolution, roses will no longer have thorns, for they will no longer be necessary. May the same be true of you in this lifetime.

How does a musician improve? He practices scales over and over and over. Yes, the talent may be innate, but the practice perfects the skill. As you awaken to who you are, you will want nothing more than to be the presence of love, but years of acting only as a human vs. a spirit-being will have habituated certain habits. How to overcome this? Practice, practice, practice. You are aspiring to a new octave. This ascension does not come without a bit of effort on your part. Practice spreading love, being love, and seeing love unconditionally and soon you will be a virtuoso.

How you view an event is completely up to you. Does a tragedy—or what you interpret as a tragedy—propel you into action or lethargy, anger or compassion? Why are there so many choices? For yours is the realm of duality, of polar opposites. The whole point of this existence is that you get to choose, and thus you either learn and grow or stagnate. There are other dimensions in which emotions have no role. This one which you now experience is one of the most difficult, the most arduous, due to its very dual nature. We admire all of you for agreeing to take it on, for the learning you bring back with you from this experience is great. You have much to teach us all as a result of your experiences. Does this surprise you? Soldier on and pay attention to your choices. This is why you are here.

How can something that happens halfway around the planet affect you? Do you not realize that all of you are leaves on the same tree? You all share the same Source. You cannot survive alone. You could not function. Yes, you think you could go off into a cave and there exist quite happily alone for the rest of your life, but it is God who gives you that life. See God as the Tree itself, not just the trunk and branches and leaves. All of you live and have your very breath in that Tree. What one thinks and does affects all. You may not feel the connection on an individual basis, but how does it affect you when an entire community or an entire nation thinks less than loving thoughts? How do you raise the vibration of the Tree? It begins with every leaf.
You have seen trees die bit by bit of dis-ease, and you have seen trees flourish. Your tree is like a Scientist’s experiment. Which way will it go? You are headed in the right direction. Now be a vibrant part of that growth and help the Tree of Life to flourish.

Yes, you are adored. Do you remember how it felt to gaze upon your child for the first time? Did your heart not expand to the point where you thought it would explode? That is how adored you are. The One who gave you life continues to do so. You are not alone. You are not forgotten. You are not neglected. You are adored and loved and given the next breath every moment by the One who adores you. Never forget this when you are feeling tired, alone, and sure that you cannot go on. Remember that feeling of love that you had upon beholding your creation and know that this is but a tiny seed of how adored and loved you are.

In the eyes of Spirit there is no best, there is no better, there is no worse. All are simply precious expressions of the God Force. If there is no judgment—and all of you know one who did not judge others—then why do you judge? It is the nature of the human being. It is learned behavior. Can you unlearn it? Most certainly, but not without effort. The rewards are many and great. We do warn you that you may find yourself alone in this behavior quite often, but you need not voice your new beliefs aloud. Practice them until they are a part of you, and that is all the reward you will need. No better. No best. Level the playing field, and all are winners.

It is all one big web, this existence in which you find yourself. You are not trapped in the web like an insect—a victim of the one who weaves it, unless you do not understand the nature of ego versus spirit. When you can see yourself as a co-creator of the web, then you move about the strands without becoming stuck. You are a spinner of this web, and when you realize this, your life and the strand upon which you find yourself come into alignment with the other strands. Instead of a tangled mess, you now see the perfection and incredibly intricate interconnectedness of All That Is. Go spin your gossamer strands, so ephemeral are they—not prisoner’s chains, but wispy, silvery, glittering conduits of the life force that carry you from one adventure to the next. Blessings be upon you, fellow spinner of miracles.

Have it your way. You take great pride in this, but does it always lead to the best outcome? How often have you marched off with the greatest of plans, only to find those plans foiled or not met? Were you perhaps plowing through obstacles to have things your way without stopping to check to sense if your way was the best way?
What is the best way? You cannot always see this with the limited view you enjoy from behind your physical eyes. Perhaps you would do better to pause every once in a while, close those eyes, and ask those with a greater perspective for some input. When you are not so intent on having things one way only, the results may surprise you.Note from Suzanne: I posted Sanaya's message at the normal time yesterday, but did not realize until much later in the day that it had not shown up online. It did not go out by email, so those of you who receive the posts by email get two today! ( ... and may it be a truly wonderful day.) xxoo

Create a sacred space for yourself—a place where you feel safe. For many this is in the home, but for some, even the physical home fails to be a haven. Find that place inside by shutting out the outside. Shut the eyes, remove sound distractions, and breathe deeply over and over ... slowly. You cannot feel safe whilst holding the breath. Allow the breath to transport you to safety. Drift to that safe place on your breath. If you cannot get there you are still holding, holding, holding on. Breathe. This is the key to going home.

“Easy does it.” That is the phrase of the day. How often do you make things harder than they must be? You base your thoughts and actions on past behaviors and beliefs, even if these are outdated or no longer serve you. Perhaps they have never served you, yet you continue to apply them as rules and obstinate behaviors which only serve to bring you into conflict with others, most especially those closest to you.
“Easy does it”—an attitude and an application that will serve you well. Have a look at when you have been inflexible and bend a bit. And while you’re at it, be easy on yourself. Laugh at the part of you that was so inflexible that you could not even see. We love you so and are infinitely patient as we all grow together. (Does this surprise you that those in spirit continue to grow as well? Each aspect of The One that grows, does help the whole to ever evolve. It is all one great web).

Differences. They exist in all of you. Appreciate them rather than viewing them with scorn. There is something for everyone. Do you take a little of everything at a smorgasbord? Some do, but most leave a few things which are not to their taste. To others, these left-behinds are the favorites which they pile high upon their plate. All of life is a smorgasbord—a beautiful buffet of choices. Enjoy the diversity. You do not have to resonate with it all. Accepting that there are differences makes it all much more palatable.

Why do you avert your eyes when you pass another? That is a spirit-being and a human being just like you. This is learned behavior. What are you hiding? It is shame and fear. “What if they were to see the real me? And surely they do not want me to see them. Look away! Quickly!”
The eyes are the windows of the soul. Open them wide and send a loving greeting to those you meet. Accompany it with a smile, and you are doing God’s work. That is why you are here, you know: to be the body of God in flesh. You are God’s eyes. Use them to say, “Hello, fellow traveler. I value the part of you that knows who you are and the part of you that does not. I value all of you and all of me, for it is all God.”Namaste.

Pay attention to signs. Why do you at times see a recurring theme? Yes, these signs may have been there all along, but why do you now notice them everywhere? When you think the words, “For some reason,” there is always a reason. It is up to you to decipher what that is. What are the recurring signs telling you?
Your mind is intricately connected at the superconscious level with all minds. From that level, your unseen helpers can draw your attention to that which you need for further growth and peace. Pay attention to the signs. There is a reason. Figuring it all out is part of the adventure.

Could you give away your most valued possession? Ah, does the thought of this bring fear? That is attachment. We do not wish to make you uncomfortable, merely to remind you of the impermanence of all physical things. The more you can lessen your reliance on things for your happiness, the happier you will be. What a paradox! But this is life—always changing, always bringing you new things and beings to become attached to, and then taking them away. The one thing that is never taken away is existence itself. So, enjoy your things. Love your possessions and the beings in your life, and know that it is that love that never goes away.

The soul is the part known as “you” – the individual aspect of Spirit. It has a distinct, recognizable vibration that is ever-changing, ever evolving. Spirit is the essence of the soul and of All That Is. You, as a soul, are differentiated from other souls, once again, by your frequency. What connects you with all that is is spirit. The essence of the soul is love, for love is all that is. Love is the connective tissue of the soul, therefore, spirit is love. Because all is spirit, love is the basis of all that is. Semantics, semantics. How words limit you! Move beyond words, move beyond concepts, move beyond the mind until all that is left is basic essence, and what do you think you will find there? I AM. And what is this “I”? Love. That is all there is to it.

It is a miracle that you are here. Look at your earth, how it supports you with the exact temperature range, the exact nutrients, fuels, and oxygen your body needs to survive. You could not survive if any of these parameters were changed just a bit. Look at the body that supports the spirit that is you—a miraculous machine of interconnected, cooperating parts. It is a miracle in motion. Look at the miracle of conception, growth, and birth. The perfection is astounding. Look around you today and look for the miraculous. It is all around you, yet you so often focus on the mundane. Focus on the big and small miracles today and feel your heart expanding with love, for it is Love which has engendered all of the miracles, and the greatest of these is you.

How often do you point out another’s faults and then find yourself doing the self-same thing? If you are honest with yourself, you see this and use it as a learning point. You judge others when there is still much within the self to be raised higher. We are not judging you in pointing out this very human behavior, merely helping you to be aware that you are all human. Allow others their mistakes, as we allow you to do the same. Look upon others with compassion and understanding as we look upon you the same. Can you look upon yourself with compassion, understanding, and a bit of laughter? It will make the bumps oh so much easier.

The school of mastery--that is where you find yourself. Mastery of a job? Mastery of a task? Not at all. None of that matters at all in the end game. Mastery of your emotions, my friends. That is the challenge you agreed to take on. How volatile are you? How reactive? Every response is a choice. You have been gifted with a brain in which the part that controls thinking is separate from the part that controls emotion. Did you know this? This is what we have been telling you now for quite a while. You CHOOSE how you react and what you think. Therefore, how you FEEL from moment to moment is your choice as well. How can the soul grow in being more loving if you do not gain mastery over your thoughts? One step a a time is how. One thought at a time. If you choose to.

Miracles are all around you when you have eyes to see and ears to hear. Miracles big and small are signs of the interaction of two worlds, two realities. When you have faith, or better yet the knowingness that other dimension exist beyond your own, miracles become the norm. Still, you celebrate them as we do also to see that you are paying attention.
Pay attention. The signs are all around you. A miracle is not magic, but a mirror of the state of awareness in which you find yourself. Ask to behold miracles in your life and they will become the norm – a reflection of the openness of your mind and spirit.Note from Suzanne: One of several “miracles” occurred yesterday as I enjoyed a sacred moment on the shores of Lake Louise, allegedly an area of great resonance with the vibration of Archangel Michael. I heard a voice that said, “Look up.” I snapped the photo you see here as my tears flowed from the overwhelming love that suddenly filled my heart. May you experience miracles today and every day ...

Settle back in your favored place--a place where you feel at home and safe. Why do you feel so there? For you are warm and comfortable. You know that nothing can bother you there. This place you have chosen exists in the physical world, but such a place exists within the soul as well. Your sanctuary. Go there often. You may be experiencing chaos externally, but by merely closing the eyes and breathing deeply, you can return for a moment or more to this home that is always there. You cannot stay there forever whilst enjoying the human experience, for that would defeat the purpose of having your human experience, but go there just often enough and as needed to remind you what is truly Real. You are always safe and loved.

Snowshoes … they keep you from sinking into soft snow as you walk. Because of the large shape, it makes the snow seem solid. Were it not for the large footprint, you would blend into the snow. And so it is with the body. Were it not for your physical “footprint,” you would blend in with the molecules of the earth. See the physical world as it truly is today , not as your senses report it to be. All is a buzzing hive of vibration. As such, the physical world is an illusion. Take away the physical senses, and what you are left with is vibration itself, arising from pure consciousness. Love is the impulse from which all arises and forms. Take away all extraneous things, and all that remains is Love. Simply reflect on this and see how it changes things for you.

Can you live fearlessly? How badly do you want to? Fearless living requires first and foremost understanding you are spirit first and foremost and that that aspect of you which is spirit cannot be harmed. It lives on forever. No bullets, no arrows, no bears, no words, no knives, no car accidents, no falls, no wounds, physical or emotional, can harm it. Then you must identify the programmed messages which speak contrary to the Truth that you have planted at both the conscious and subconscious level that you continue to tell yourself. As you find these, release them and replace them with powerful, loving words which speak to the Truth of who you are. Fearlessness is a state of mind which becomes a state of being through practice.

There will always be challenges in your life. How you handle them is what matters. See them not as challenges, but opportunities. If, when faced with a challenge, you shrink back, run away if you can, cry, and complain, then you have missed the point. Even if you did not call this upon yourself at a conscious level, it has presented itself. How can you grow from it? Merely by seeing it as an opportunity you will grow. Life is so much easier with the tiniest change in perspective.

“Love makes the world go ‘round.” These again are some of your lyrics to a well-known song, but yes, they have a literal meaning. It is Love indeed that is the creative impulse of the universe and all universes beyond it. Were it not for Love, the world as you know it would implode and darkness would prevail. Your world—the one in which you are the center of your own universe, the sun of your own solar system—consists of you surrounded by the planets of your family and friends. It is Love which makes you shine and revolve and yes, breathe. Breathe in more of it, would you.
When you feel as if your life may just implode, step out of your little universe and rise above it all. See the bigger picture, where chaos has no place, where Love is the one guiding Force and Source, and get back into alignment. Your trajectory may wobble a bit now and then, but the course and path you are on is quite clear and stable … ever onward, ever upward, moving ever so surely in the direction of, and under the direction of, Love.

Shadows of your former self continue to appear. How to banish them? Shine your light ever brighter. When there is bright light from directly above there can be no shadows around or within you. When you, in turn, shine your light brightly in all directions, you help to dispel the shadows around you. Bear in mind, oh torch bearer, that it is all the same Light. There is only one Source, and it flows through you and as you. Shine on, oh beacon of Love, and light up your world.
Note from Suzanne: In the photo we are holding a flashlight that is turned OFF. The light from the "torch" is actually the natural light behind us.

Zero defects. Is this not a goal in some of your corporations? Is this a reachable goal? Not when you are referring to the human being, but how do you define a defect? The word carries a negative connotation. One cannot help but judge that which is labeled a defect as undesirable. Do you not see that a defect is merely a something outside of your norms? It does not allow a being or a thing to function in the expected or desired manner. Does that make it “bad”? Or may that perhaps lead to new ways of doing things, new discoveries, new paradigms? Embrace your so-called “defects” just as you embrace what you assume is perfection. It is all part of the perfection of Life – one beautiful, coordinated Whole.

Are you happy with that person? Are you in touch with the Real You? Will the Real You, who is not a person, but pure spirit, please step forth here and now.Note from Suzanne: It was three years ago on this date that I first felt the presence of Sanaya.
