Who is Sanaya? Suzanne Giesemann answers:

Who is Sanaya? Suzanne Giesemann answers: "Sanaya (pronounced "sah-NIGH-ah") has told us that she is a collective consciousness of minds with both a feminine and masculine energy. This energy comes from a higher dimension than our own. When I bring through Sanaya's words, I am "tapping in" to Higher Consciousness. I am allowing that Consciousness to express itself through my body: through my brain, through my vocal cords, my arms, my hands, and also through my pen. Sanaya would not need a name, except for our human need to put labels on things and place our experiences into well-defined boxes. Sanaya takes us outside the box into a dimension where we come face to face with our higher selves. To hear the words of Sanaya as they come through ... to sit in the presence of that energy ... is a palpable experience of higher vibration ... of love. To read Sanaya's words can have the same result when you tune in to that finer energy as you read." Getting "now-where"

When you are harried or rushed, life can easily pass you by.  What does this mean?  Life is ongoing all around you in this now-moment.  Imagine yourself in a car.  The illusion is that you are moving past the scenery—going, going, going here and there, when in fact, in every moment you are simply here, now.  Just as your movies are simply one frame after another after another, the movement is an illusion.  Stop and notice each frame of your life.  Do not become so caught up in the rush of “getting somewhere” that you miss the beautiful scenery and events around you in this very now-moment.

Softening

When one with whom you commune does not see or think or act your way, do not try to sway them.  Allow them to be as they are.  It is not your task to change anyone.  Don’t you have enough of a challenge dealing with your own Little Voice?  Keep your outer voice to yourself when one does not send as much love as you would like, and then you go ahead and send as much love as you would like to that one.  She or he may not change, but you will.  You will soften, no longer rigidly requiring that things and people go your way.  Oh, my.  Would that not be a relief?

All Connected

Interdependence … this applies to you more than you know.  It becomes so easy to think you can survive on your own, but do not let that thought overtake your purpose (to be the presence of Love).  Were it not for your parents, you would not be here.  Were it not for the food supplied to you, you would not be here.  Were it not for the trees and plants which give you oxygen, you would not be here.  Were it not for the very Source that gives you breath, you would not be here, and yet you think you are the center of the Universe.

We hope that you will look about you and see that the concept of being alone and independent is an illusion.  There is nothing wrong in being dependent on another.  You are dependent on All That Is, and is that so bad?  Rejoice in your interdependence.  Celebrate it, for without it, you would not exist.

With Passion

Compassion.  Look at the word.  It carries the meaning “with passion.”  You so often equate passion with sexual love, but here we ask you to love all others with great spiritual love.  Go straight to the heart of that other who may not look or act as you do and see them as a fellow journeyer who may or may not realize the great journey of the soul that they are on.  With passion send them a smile of recognition.  With passion send them a prayer that they too may find peace in their heart.  With passion will you change the world.

Straight to the Point

Love and fear.  Love and fear.  They are circular when you are in human form.  You experience love, and when the feeling goes away, you feel fear that you will never have that feeling again.  Then you come back to a place of love.  On and on goes this cycle of chasing your tail, yes, like the ouroboros, the snake that ate its own tail.  Your journey is one of discovery.  When you discover that all there is is love and that it exists at your center and at the center of all that is, then you will stop the endless cycling and dive straight to the center point.  Learning to do that is the point of being human.  Have no fear.  You are love(d).

Slowly ...

Do you know why slow, deep breathing helps you to calm down and find peace?  Of course there are the physiologic effects, but what of the spiritual?  When you inhale deeply, the focus of the mind goes to the location within the body where expansion is occurring.  And look!  What else is in this place?  The heart!  You are drawn naturally to the seat of the soul.  The focus leaves the head and rests for a while in the place of peace.  Follow the breaths straight to the heart when thoughts want to overtake you.  You cannot race and breathe slowly.  If the mind is racing, breathe slowly and settle naturally into the slow pace of peace.

Sparkling Clean

Cleanse, cleanse, cleanse.  You take a shower every day to clean the physical body, yet what do you do to clean the energetic body?  And suddenly you find yourself out of sorts and you don’t know why?  Why, it’s very simple:  your energetic body is gunked up.  There are methods of clearing the energy that is no longer needed, and all of them are effective, but only if you use them.  Shower daily with soap and water, and yes, with Light.  Then your physical body will smell sweet and clean and your spirit will positively sparkle.

At the Roots

Return to your roots.  We are not speaking of your earthly ancestry, but the aspect of you that arises from Spirit.  If you like the analogy, picture a great and mighty tree, full of wisdom.  All humans are but leaves on that tree.  You gather on various branches and give yourselves different names based upon which branch you inhabit.  Soon you forget that all of you are part of the same tree.  Return to the roots—your Source of nourishment—the very Source of your existence, and you will see your commonality.  Why do you fight and squabble?  Why do you look at differences when you are all connected at the roots?

Oh, my goodness

Life is good.  You put this on your t-shirts, and it is Truth.  When you have this as your fundamental belief, goodness flows.  Anything less than goodness is simply a thought system in need of correction, and the basic goodness of the Universe will ensure that the correction is made.  Radiate the goodness that is inside you, that IS you, and good things will come unto you.  May goodness and light follow wherever you go.  This is a prayer you may repeat until you see the goodness in all things, but know that it is Truth.  Darkness is merely ignorance of this basic fact of Life.

Just Words

Praise verses condemnation.  You happily accept the one and eschew the other.  You have grown accustomed to reacting to praise with positive emotions.  As a child, those who were important to you stroked you as they said loving things about you.  Perhaps words of condemnation were accompanied by negative vibrations which triggered accompanying emotions.  Can you see the cause and effect at play here?

All words are neutral.  It is how the mind processes them that causes the hormonal and thus emotional reaction.  Praise and condemnation are equal.  They are merely words.  When you can learn to not let either affect how much love you feel for yourself, then the love you feel for yourself will not waver.

Light

What is it that makes a painting come alive?  It is the play of the light against the dark.  Light shimmers, attracting the eye, and it is magical.  You are drawn to light in all of its forms, for the heart recognizes it.  Some may actually enjoy darkness for a while, but eventually light calls.  It is the natural order of things, to seek the light.  Shine a light on that which is dark inside of you, and you will begin to shimmer, too.  Do not be afraid of the darkness, but be thankful for the role that it plays in leading you home.

Nudges

Yes, that song you heard was a sign.  “But how could it have played just for me?” you wonder when millions of others listening to the same station heard it, too, or it was going to play anyway in the queue?  Ah, but you noticed the words, didn’t you?  Why is that?  Because we gave you a nudge—we, your helpers.  “Pay attention!  Listen now!”  And you did, and in so doing you received a kiss from Heaven … some reassurance … perhaps a new way of looking at your situation, or just a reminder that you are not alone and you are loved.  Don’t you love it … the way we work together?  Let the music play on, and when it speaks to you, give us a nod.  We like that.

In Tune

Would you like to be an instrument of God?  Which one?  There are many choices.  You can be a tuba and play loudly, or a delicate flute and play soft and sweet.  You can be a trumpet and blare your message so that all pay attention.  In each case, as the instrument, you need do nothing but allow yourself to be played.

It is a passive action, this art of being played.  It is a matter of allowing the breath of God to flow through you, the instrument, to produce your sounds.  It is your unique nature as a tuba, flute, or trumpet that produces a different tone in each case, but the Breath that flows through is the same … always the same.

Look at all of the instruments around you.  They may play a different tune, but the Source of their sound is the same.  Can you see that?  When you come to know this Source and surrender to it, and allow yourself to be played, then the sound you produce is perfectly in tune with the Sound of creation.

If you experience dissonance in those around you—some flat or sharp notes—now you know why.  Seek to play in tune with the other instruments in your band of brothers and sisters who are most perfectly in tune, of course.  But none of you will be perfectly tuned until you match your pitch with the One who plays every instrument in the band.

Magic

When you are little, you enjoy fantasies of fairy godmothers who sprinkle fairy dust with their magic wands and make miracles happen.  And then what happens?  You grow up, and you put on your suit, and carry your briefcase, and fall into lock-step with the others who no longer talk to the fairies.  Ah, what happened to the magic?  It is still there, my friend.  It has always been there just waiting for you to pick up the wand and sprinkle some around yourself.

When you believe in magic, magic happens.  But what is the definition of magic?  It is not a trick, not deceit, but a lifting of the veil so that the two worlds can unite and together create wonders.  What is in the fairy dust?  A sprinkling of belief and hope, and a huge dash of love.

Believe in magic.  Believe in yourself.  Step out of line, and fly.

Inside the Triangle

Now today we speak of triangles.  You have so many 3’s in your world, and 3 is a magical number.  Body, mind, and spirit; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  Three is stable.  You can choose sides in a triangle, but the most powerful point, as in any shape, is at the center.  It is there that all points meet, all sacred shapes converge, and you are one.  Soak up the power of the triangle by seeing yourself at the center of the holy trinity.  It is not a triangle at all, but merely different facets of the circle of Life—the wholeness of which you are part.

Outside the Box

Think outside the box.  That is your greatest lesson.  Do not be normal.  Do not follow the crowd.  They will lead you right back into the box.  Think in terms of no terms.  Try new ideas and concepts, and by “new” we mean something that others would not have ever considered.  All is possible.  Create new patterns, draw new shapes, color outside the lines.  The box has boundaries; the circle is ever expanding.

In Good Time

All in good time.  All in good time.  What is your hurry?  Are you not enjoying this moment now?  If not, then stop and ask yourself, “Why not?”  There is a reason that what you want so badly is not here right now.  It is all in perfect order, my friend.  When you can relax and trust that this is so, you will truly enjoy every moment.  In fact, you will enjoy it more fully than ever before, and then you will have a truly good time, all in good time.

What's Their Story?

Everyone has a story.  If you passed a hundred strangers on the street you would hear one hundred fascinating tales.  Yet how many of you take the time to ask, more interested are you in your own story and how it is unfolding.  Step beyond your own life and into another's for a glimpse at how Spirit manifests in myriad ways.  You have much to learn, but little learning takes place when you limit your horizons to your own personal universe.  It is quite understandable that the human is self-centered, but dive into the center of the other universes around you.

Stretching

When you stretch something to make it fit, it feels uncomfortable, does it not?  The same is true whether you speak of clothing, circumstances, or words.  Stretching can be a good thing if it causes growth.  Simply be aware of your emotions as you stretch anything and always be true to yourself.

For the Thrill of It

This is going to be fun, you think and there you are right.  Buckle your seatbelt and get ready for the ride.  The ride of your life?  Yes, that is what you could call it.  And yes, at times it is like a roller coaster.  Think of your life in these terms:  You went to an amusement park and got on a thrill ride knowing that parts of it would be frightening, knowing it would go up and down, and knowing you would get tossed around a bit and maybe even bruised.  But what else did you know?  That in the end you would get off that ride and be thrilled, elated even, and proud of yourself for having done so.  And after you catch your breath, what do you do?  You get back on the ride and do it again.  We hope you are smiling, for we most certainly are, and we are right in the seat beside you.
