Who is Sanaya? Suzanne Giesemann answers:

Who is Sanaya? Suzanne Giesemann answers: "Sanaya (pronounced "sah-NIGH-ah") has told us that she is a collective consciousness of minds with both a feminine and masculine energy. This energy comes from a higher dimension than our own. When I bring through Sanaya's words, I am "tapping in" to Higher Consciousness. I am allowing that Consciousness to express itself through my body: through my brain, through my vocal cords, my arms, my hands, and also through my pen. Sanaya would not need a name, except for our human need to put labels on things and place our experiences into well-defined boxes. Sanaya takes us outside the box into a dimension where we come face to face with our higher selves. To hear the words of Sanaya as they come through ... to sit in the presence of that energy ... is a palpable experience of higher vibration ... of love. To read Sanaya's words can have the same result when you tune in to that finer energy as you read." In Your Defense

You wish to defend yourself.  We are not speaking of the physical, although the reasons why you would do so are the same.  We are speaking of the sense of defensiveness that arises when some other says something that you perceive as untrue, hurtful, or not supportive of your views.  What are you defending?  Your status, your power, your integrity, your so-called rights.  All of these are of the ego and not of the spirit.  To the ego, all of these are all-important.  To the spirit, they matter not a whit.

When you feel indignation rise, catch yourself and smile.  Smile at how good it will feel when ego no longer rears up and you can allow the other to think and say whatever their ego perceives to be true.  The separation is all an illusion anyway.  Smile now and see beyond the illusion.  Be the yin while the other plays yang, or vice versa, and you have made up the whole.  That is what it is all about—this physical life:  seeing past the illusion and returning to Oneness.
