Like a pilot, you
choose a destination and take off. You
have a flight path well in mind. Then,
unexpectedly you encounter turbulence—bumps along the way that cause you
discomfort. You can either fly on
through it, or go around the bumpy parts.
While going around you see something from this new perspective that catches
your eye, and suddenly you are going off in a new direction completely
unplanned. Why, this new destination
looks incredible! And so it is when you land and check it out.
Do you see how it
works? You may experience some
discomfort in the bumps, but often the turbulence along your path is exactly what
you need, leading you to an even better “now.”
I find myself saying WOW quite often after reading these Daily Messages!
ReplyDeleteA favorite read of mine was Richard Bach's 'One' in which you saw numerous paths on the ground while flying. You could cut the engine and glide down to experience one. I have and it has made all the difference. I'm not afraid to explore a different journey anymore! BB
